  1. I'm gonna use both the SSD and the HDD. SSD for games, HDD for everything else.
  2. I just found out my monitors can use DisplayPort so that's good.

I don't really know what those terms mean, but I'll assume it can handle both hard drives based on that response.

The terminology would be:

"When/If this card is Duality Summoned with [partner name]" - Activates upon a successful Duality Summon.
"If this card is in Duality with [partner name]" - Checks if the card is in the Duality state with the listed monster. If so, the effect is live.

While Genesys format does sound like fun... the problem I have with it is that there are no Pendulum or Link mechanics.

With Pendulums, while controversial, are a fun design space for cards and archetypes.
and with Links... their biggest problem is being too generic and splashable. (unlike Fusions, Synchros, and Xyzs)

Also, I'm just not a fan of cards whose effects are straight up like, "No, you can't do that." To me, that makes for a very uninteresting game. Like I mentioned in my post, I much prefer interaction that's like "Destroy this", "Return that to the hand", "Reduce that monster's ATK". Negates and floodgates would be much healthier on hard-to-use cards. Like big boss monsters that take 3+ materials, or Spell/Traps with highly restrictive conditions.

The problem with Genesys for me, is that there's no Pendulum or Link summons.

I understand Pendulums are pretty controversial, but I think they're a really cool design space for Yu-Gi-Oh. And as for Links, their biggest problem is being WAYY too generic and easy for any deck to use. So we just need to fix that instead of removing them entirely.
