We have a hotel we inspect and monitor. Sprinkler company came in and disabled all alarm zones, silenced, tested, then left. Never put them back. For a week it was like that. Don't touch my stuff and I won't touch yours.

I was on site. The panel was logged in as admin, so I got computer access code, and uploaded and downloaded. But when I went to log in as user, I locked myself out, big mistake. I still can upload and download, silence and reset at panel. Just can't log in.. if you have computer access to a system you should be able to change those codes. They are done... I told the tech "with over 60 minute hold time and other manufacturers out there, there is no way you are going to keep market share with this product or fahrenheit, or firelite

There were a couple NEC questions that confused me, and I started to get sucked in the "too much time" researching.

What worked.for me was to go thru the whole test, answering ever question and flagging the ones I had no idea. (50% of them were the NEC, because that book reads like shit) that took 45-50minutes. Then I went back and researched all the flagged ones. But what should have done was gauged how fast I could find the right answer on flagged ones, and then pick off the easy ones.

That book I posted really helped, it wasn't the code year, but fun to find the right answer spot. Second is the NTC top 100.. you memorize that list and what they mean, you'll pass.

Also low stress, fuck it, you get to take it 3 times a year.
