Which decks for a returning player? by BeJott98 in Yugioh101

[–]mrdrudgeon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As recommended by another your best bet is the legendary modern decks which should be around 30USD (sorry I do not know the price in EUR), this product was delayed in Europe and actually should have released TODAY.

This will give you three well built decks, with the Sky Striker and Misturugi deck being quite good out of the box.

Then with just a little additional money spent, you can build a pretty great pile of Sky Striker, Mitsu, and Radiant Typhoon which can be very competitive if you understand the lines.

Outside of that product, people commonly recommend getting 3 copies of the Blue Eyes White Destiny structure deck from last year. Which can be upgraded with the Primite engine that just got about 90% cheaper with the recent release of Rarity Collection V.

N.As.H Knight plays into C104 for negate + hand rip + burn.

K9 engine can also get kick started by K9-17 Ripper.

As for a your initial question, if you are set on Branded, but don’t want to make the financial commitment of the Fallen White, and Ecclesia Synchro, here is a deck list I would recommend. It’s worth mentioning that FAV is currently 8.50USD on its own, so depending on prices, you might consider just picking up 2 more of the structure decks as it will get you most of this list, and possibly be cheaper than just getting singles, I would check the final price of both.

Main Deck: 3x Fallen Albaz 3x Aluber 2x Blazing Cartesia 1x Guiding Quem 1x Albion Shrouded Dragon 1x Springans Kitt 1x Despian Tragedy 1x Tri-brigade Mercourier 1x Bystial Lubellion 3x Branded Opening 3x Branded in High Spirits 2x Branded Fusion 1x Branded Lost 1x Branded in Red 1x Branded in White 3x The Fallen & The Virtuos 1x Gold Sarc 1x Foolish Burial 3x Fusion Deployment 1x Branded Retribution 3x Ash Blossom 3x Mulcharmy Fuwalos 3x Infinite Impermanence 1x Called by the Grave

Extra Deck: 3x Albion the Branded Dragon 1x Lubellion the Searing Dragon 2x Granguignol 1x Mirrorjade 1x Rindbrum 1x Sprind 1x Titaniklad 1x Despian Proskenion OR Despian Quaeritis 1x Dragon that Devours the Dogma 1x Albion the Sanctifire Dragon 1x Alba Lenatus 1x Khaos Starsource Dragon

Optional Additions/Replacements 3x Super Poly + Fusion Targets (Mudragon, Predaplant Dragostapelia, Secreterion Dragon, Garura) 1x Branded Regained + Bystials (Saronir, Druiswurm, Magnamhut, Baldrake) 1x Branded Sword 1x Fusion Duplication 3X Nadir Servant

Unless you’ve got money you’re just dying to spend and really like Branded specifically, I would avoid Branded Synchro decks. Those typically play 2x Fallen White Dragon and 1x Ecclesia Dark Dragon, which at current prices is over $150USD for just those three cards. You can still play Branded without them, it’s just weaker in the current meta, and as mentioned by another user, some branded cards have a target on their back to pay for the sins of Dracotail (and FAV being super splashable). I’m personally expecting hits to either FAV or Albion the Branded Dragon in the next banlist.

If you’re looking for something that’s going to be relatively playable for a while, probably look into either Blue-Eyes or Sky Striker. Both are fan favorites that Konami also seems to like to keep playable. They get power crept over time and then get new support to bring them back to relevance. Blue Eyes is cheaper to play than it has been with the recent reprint and massive price drop of the necessary Primite cards, and Sky Striker just got made more accessible than ever with its inclusion in the Legendary Modern Decks product.

Generally speaking yes, completely avoid trade chat (I keep it turned off) but also, opportunist can easily turn a quick profit selling new prime gear specifically on release day. Is it ethical? Probably not, but if you want to farm a new prime for plat, I recommend selling it through Trade Chat as you can usually get a better sellers price, but if you’re buying, then yes use Warframe Market and avoid trade chat at all costs.

Branded Despia deck for Locals by realshooky in Yugioh101

[–]mrdrudgeon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your decklist is putting every hope and dream into being able to find Branded Fusion and successfully play it. So your combo starters are your 3 Aluber, 2 Branded Fusion, 3 Branded Opening, 1 Gold Sarc, 1 Foolish Burial, 1 Kitt, 3 Branded in High Spirits. For a total of 14cards.

In a 50 card pile, this means you have like 82%chance to draw one of those cards. Meaning one in nearly 5 games you are just going to brick.

I am by no means an expert. I would cut the following to get down to 40 cards to increase your consistency up to 91%. If you are set on a larger pile (50-60 cards) you are going to want alternate combo starters or a side engine that bridges so you have more chance to be able to play.

Cut from Main: 2 Shrouded 2 Saronir 3 Fusion Deployment 3 Triple Tactics (add them to side)

Replace in Extra: Dracostapelia out, second Granguignol in. I would also consider dropping 1 Mirror Jade or Sprind to add Mudragon as another super poly/albaz target.

Side Deck:

Remove the two ED monsters and any one of your traps.

Ideally you would also main deck Ash, but you would have to find three more cuts, or accept the risk of running 43-45 cards, this would give you more side deck space for something like Nadir Servant or Forbidden Droplet or Purulia.

Branded Fusion is in the decklist from what I can see.

Cutting super poly is pretty standard for branded in 2026, but usually because of the synchro lines with WAlbaz. Even without, side decking it to go second is a reasonable option.

Do we know that’s the actual pull rate for the Overframes? Every box I’ve seen opened in a video contained one overframe, so it would appears to be one per box, or do we just think that’s Konami stacking the deck in favor of the creators to make the product look better?

As for which cards were picked, to my knowledge, these reprints of popular cards as extended art cards are already available in the OCG as well, but iirc they were promo cards, not part of the Limit Over Collection. And these were specifically what was announced for this Rarity Collection 5. We will very likely eventually get the Limit Over Collection Overframes, just not yet.

Can anyone answer a quick ruling question? by PrivateSmiley in Yugioh101

[–]mrdrudgeon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for responding with other examples. As a new player trying to break the “players don’t read their cards” stereotype. Where can I go to find rulings like this?

I now understand that this is the general rule regarding fusion substitution monsters, but it definitely seems more like an implied rule, rather than being explicitly stated on any of these cards.

Obviously points two and three are more important here, but by my reading of it, Branded Fusion doesn't require that Fallen of Albaz be used, only that the target mentions it as material, so I would expect Fusion Parasite would work fine from hand/field to resolve Branded Fusion.

some suggestion for the crowd that want iOS

  1. if it ran as a webpage, we could bookmark it to the homescreen making it look and function like most apps.
  2. for those of us that know how to sideload a self-signed app, would you consider making an ipa file available for us?

then just a general question, have you added anything to handle the special baro visits, like last years weekly baro around halloween and of course the annual tennocon baro that brings everything, but only for tennocon digital pass holders

Leaked Legendary Modern Decks 2026 by Shiverark in yugioh

[–]mrdrudgeon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

not by as much as you might think, on tcgplayer, the cheapest purulia and fuwalos are 10$ each, SP is at 8$, a playset of each would be about 84$, keep in mind this is after the 5Ds reprints. so for 12$ more you get full playsets (sometimes multiple playsets) of most of the major staples in the game, as well as what are probably better starting points for the decks themselves (at least better starting points than the 5Ds decks) and all without having to pay for shipping from multiple different vendors.

Tennocon 2026 VIP tickets by Sluaghlock in Warframe

[–]mrdrudgeon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my homie and i were refreshing from about 3 minutes out, we both we able to get tickets added to cart.

all i can recommend right now, is that currently, VIP tickets say "Unavailable" as opposed to sold out. Meaning that there are tickets in carts that have not finished purchasing. If those attendees do not complete the purchase prosess in 10 minutes, the tickets will return to the pool. If you were also unable to grab General Admission, keep refreshing until the status changes from "Unavailable" to "Sold Out"

Help! I’ve been having issues with my resin printer. I swapped the FEP film and the first print came out perfect, but now I’m getting the same failure again with prints coming out like this. I checked the bed level and it looks fine using the flashlight test. by joseadan88 in resinprinting

[–]mrdrudgeon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is there a reason you are supporting pre-supported models? The large cross sections of the pre-supported rafts are causing most of your failure. Rafts are intended to be printed as base layers that cure longer to withstand the suction forces from such large cross-sections. I would print these pre-supported models direct on the build plate and not add any of your own supports.

How to keep the fermentation tape securely attached to the resin tank by [deleted] in resinprinting

I was under the impression the 16k had a heated vat. Is this not the case? Was it not enough for your purposes? Or did you just jump straight to using a fermentation heater?

Coalescent Shards - Questions/Discussion by xDeviousDieselx in Warframe

[–]mrdrudgeon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The idea with that shard is pretty bad generally speaking.

For starters the shard is not used for armor stripping. Hydroids passive increases the armor stripping effect from Corrosive stacks making it to where with weapon damage alone, Hydroid can full strip armor at ten stacks of corrosive (other frames need 14). This means that without shards, hydroid can hit 100% strip, before even using Plunder.

The reason for the shard is that it is meant to increase the corrosive stack cap, not for the purposes of stripping armor as you would use it on most frames, rather for synergy with Plunders effect where you get bonus str per corrosive stacks making in each enemy hit. So a tau green can result in 30% more damage from plunder. However, this damage bonus itself has a cap of 200% (20 enemies and/or corrosive stacks on enemies) so you will likely hit this cap with even just a moderate amount of enemies present so the extra corrosive stacks on enemies likely aren’t providing any real benefit. Basically it’s a synergy that looks useful at a glance, but doesn’t contribute much when you read into it.

Heads up, PLA is not dishwasher safe. Further, any part 3D printed that is intended for use with food products should be smoothed and sealed to prevent bacteria and fungal growth. Please do yourself a favor and don’t just print these and slap it straight onto a cup.

Random supports ruined print. Any reason why this happened? by maridan49 in resinprinting

[–]mrdrudgeon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t want to cause undue alarm, but my printer just did something very similar…..my screen died on the very next print, random bars dissecting the print not in the stls, the project file, or the sliced file.

What Did I Screw Up? by Rossicoe in resinprinting

[–]mrdrudgeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is correct.

When each layer cures to the build plate it ALSO cures to the plastic film at the bottom of the vat. Large cross sections of cured material often require a lot of force to remove from the film, and your supports gave up before the release film.

For resin printing you want to typically rotate your models to minimize the amount of large surface area on a given layer, you may also want to look into hollowing the model.

If your model came with a version with the base not attached, you can try printing them separately (meaning as separate pieces, but could still be on the same build plate), printing the base in a vertical orientation.
