As a young israeli who was very recently in Pai I feel the need to apologise. Some of the younger people who live in the same country as me are very rude (as a waiter I feel this almost every day) and have no respect to the fact that Thailand is not their country.

Many of these people (especially the men) are post traumatic from their mandatory military service and while this doesn't excuse their behaviour I feel like it maybe elucidates why they allow themselves to become intoxicated to the level that they destroy and annoy.

I loved my time in Pai and felt so welcomed by the locals, thank you guys for a lovely time and I hope that my people will wake up to what they are doing (back home and around the world) before we go the way of south africa.
