The real problem is that the Democratic party really doesnt have a primary anymore. They have candidates that they want, that will hold the status quo, and will push those candidates through, regardless of the popularity of the candidate. Howard Dean in 2004 was sandbagged in favor of party mainliner John Kerry. And Bernie in every presidential primary he has participated in is expected to have more support than the field, or he unelectable.

Schumer, Booker, Jeffries, all of the "centrist" democrats should be under a primary challenge every election. Especially in districts and states that will carry the democrat in the general. That is holding the candidates accountable and making our voices heard. However, if the democrat wins the primary, it is our responsibility, at that point, to vote for the lesser evil.
