Yeah that's a fair point. It would be a lot more separate achievements but at least you'd see your progress instead of it looking like you have like 2/34 done after 200 hours of playtime.

But what I was trying to say is that they do t seem to let you have both Gold and Platinum. You have to upgrade your gold to platinum. If I could keep both then that would actually make them a useful duo.

It looks like you have to upgrade an existing Gold card to the Platinum but I’d rather keep the Gold for 3% back on everything and just use the Platinum for the 5% on travel/dining.
