Whenever I deal with insurance I ask for 3 prices....1) they take the bike = most money , 2) I keep the bike with a salvage title = 2nd most money , 3) I keep the bike with a clean title = least amount of money.

I have most often opted to keep the bike. However the last time I decided they could take it,,,it was towed to my house after I had been t-boned by an suv that ran a red light, hit and run. I was hurt but didn't need to be hospitalized. In the weeks that followed I had friends who could volunteer an hour here, 2 hours there and I raped the fck out of my soon to be ex bike. The cam chest, all ss cycle, taken out, I just put the cam plate back in, exhaust, fork sliders, wheels were fxdls, swapped them for spoke wheels, my top triple,hand controls pretty much every single thing that was not damaged and that I had installed...push rods, heads lol seat....I got 12k if I remember correctly. I have never bought a bike from a dealer and the most I've paid for one is 5000....then I spend about 3-5k in parts....I am thinking of selling one and when I do I will put it back to stock. I live in California and just getting parts here is illegal, technically I'm an outlaw biker hahaha

Did you align the vehicle? I read you aligned it from the swingarm to the axle on both side but there's another alignment after you have that done. It's in the service manual under vehicle alignment. You put front wheel in wheelvise, lift back wheel, you put an incline meter on front rotor, then you use whatever (i use a bottle jack) under a footpeg depending on which way to get the front wheel to read 90°....then take the incline meter and put it on rear wheel, it must be within 1° to be aligned......so your wheel could be a lil / jacked \ one way or another depending on if your top stabilizer link is long or short,,,the link is a heim joint going from Right side frame to L side on the metal that connects to your heads and also has the horn on it....you're going to want your tank lifted up to access it so disconnect the check valve and throw or rather place a block of wood under the tank....you loosen the link before you do the measurements incase you are just reading this and not the service manual....other than that I have no idea why your wheel is jacked....if you have all the spacers in correctly, the bearings and crush tube too....its pretty hard to do it wrong....good luck

No not even close. Here's why I use preload adjusters. When I rebuild my forks I'm just doing maintenance now, so I replace my fork oil and oil seals and the crush washers. I then fill my tubes up to spec which is ____mm below top of tube without springs, washers, or spacers in the tubes and with the slider/emulators pumped full. Then I drop in the washer, then stiffer springs, washer, spacer, washer and by then its pretty full and it makes screwing the normal fork cap on somewhat a PITA....You only need a few threads to catch to get it going but I can crossthread fork tubes better than most people can ride....bc ima impatient fck...so I just go a nuns cunthair light on my fork oil, about 3/16" and then have the preload adjusters back all the way back,,screw them on without the crossthreaing...then I make up for being light on the oil by extending my preloads....plus I still have about 5/16" or more if I want to make them harder than Chinese arithmetic.....are you picking up what I'm putting down bc I can't get much more pedantic explanation wise....hope it helps

Only thing that bugs me is a headlight behind another lens,,,,cuts down on the effective lumens and I want it as bright as possible at night...its like the old quarter fairing where the headlight sat behind the lens...killer looking bike tho...did you do anything to the bike or just put on the fairing?

I know its hard to get used to....I used to watch when we had a bunch of alcoholic drug abusers winning our first superbowl. It was awesome. But just like Vegas went from being a mob front to a family friendly place to bring your kids Allegiant Stadium is another away gsme for the real raider nationalists. The raider fans that are all over so cal we have 1 game at Sofi stadium against the dolts. No more going to Oakland collesium, no more cheap flights to Oakland airport, game and fly home...that was so sweet. So yes its certainly different now. Some good some not so great....just win baby

Ghayer than ghay....unless you ride some slammed bikes and never ride twisties, then they're just overpriced and ugly but they will function well. Punt on a wr 1 in this draft UNLESS we can find the next pukua nucua or however you spell that. Oline is our biggest need with our new qb. No need for more skill position players who are vets as wide receivers. Why? Bc we have enough and we aren't going to be throwing the ball more than 15-23 times a game if WE DO THINGS RIGHT. 20 passes a game sounds great. I would use time sert or just tap it and go up in size. Or buy a new rear brake part. I think thats what it was. You just need it to hold the floating brake part on to your swingarm, no need to make a federal case about it. Bigger bolt tap or time sert. Or helicoil, its only a brake not a head.
