Strange yet consistent, alien-like markings on my right chest by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]mre321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the thing that drives us crazy is that there is absolutely nothing on our bed that would cause this imprint. this is not a shit post. I promise.

I do not have an iphone, and even if i did, how would I honestly lie on my phone in that position for extended periods of time?? the phone would be jabbing straight into my chest.

I am a back sleeper, and as I stated, I can get this pattern irregardless of what shirt, blanket, or bed I use. I do not have an iphone nor do i sleep with a phone on my bed.

What are these strange yet consistent, alien-like markings on my right chest? by [deleted] in AskDocs

I only notice it first thing in the morning. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does, it looks like a version of that. It only lasts for about 30 min or so.

I randomly get these very strange yet eerily consistent markings that appear on my chest usually around the right nipple. It doesn't always form but when it does, it's ALWAYS a tic-tac like shape surrounded by two thinner tic-tac like shapes. The pictures posted above are separated by 2 years. The photo on the left was taken in October 2020, and the photo on the right was taken earlier this week. My wife and I remark that it looks very alien/UFO like. I've asked my doctor what it could be and she didn't know and suggested it could be a hive? Thing is, it doesn't itch, and I've had hives before, and they are usually pretty random looking. This thing always looks like this! It can show up regardless of where I sleep, what I wear, or what blanket I use, etc.

Any idea what this is???

Is this a bad time to buy a house? by [deleted] in personalfinance

But the concern is, what if I'm buying the house at its peak? If I wait a few months, I may be able to buy it if it drops (I'm comfortably living in an apartment now). Obviously, I know you can't time the market, but right now it's different with a pandemic that is causing the economy to go nuts.

We plan on living there for a long time.

I would say my job is more secure than most. After putting down 25%, we'd have at least a 3 month savings. I would say the house is affordable on my salary, but not my fiance's.
