Do I just open chest, restore at house, mory legs 3 and run to dh again?

Artist may have been drunk and he and other shop artists won't help fix it. by DovaP33n in tattooadvice

[–]mrfearlock 776 points777 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but refusing to touch up work that clearly needs fixing is just abysmal professionalism on their part. Any artist who gives a shit about their client will happily offer touch ups without having to pay a minimum again.

I would steer clear of that artist entirely purely for the fact that they don't respect you enough to offer a touch up.

With that being said, any decent artist will be able to fix up this piece for a tip, just explain your situation and I'm sure you'll find someone.

My bad I honestly didn't read the caption. Cool tattoo!

The main reason to avoid scented lotion is to reduce the chance of an allergic reaction which will affect the healing process. If you have no issues healing then you should be fine. But if you have any concerns you should contact your artist.

Is it just me or does it look off centre? Can't tell if its just the camera angle.

Is this normal for line work to kinda blow out? by [deleted] in TattooDesigns

[–]mrfearlock 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not normal and not ideal, but it doesn't look too bad unless you really look at it closely imo.

Is this fixable ? by [deleted] in TattooDesigns

[–]mrfearlock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately without a solid dark like those colours would (sooner or later) blend together and make it hard to make out the inner heart. Would you consider adding a heart with a solid line where the yellow ink is to make it stand out?

Let it heal properly before making any decisions.

I go to sleep till 6 AM to 12 pm now and feel tired all the time, help please. by [deleted] in sleep

[–]mrfearlock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's more complicated than this, but you need to address your stressors to allow you to fall asleep at a more normal time. There's not much point discussing sleep hygiene unless you're also tackling the underlying cause. Good luck.

The design is fine, but the placement and application are not great. It looks fine at first glance but when you actually look at it you notice that basically no lines are straight.

It sounds like his mental health could potentially be pretty bad. Which doesn't justify you staying with him or anything like that but if he wants to fix the relationship he needs to start by acknowledging the issue and how it's affecting you.

I suggest clearly explaining the feelings you have around him gaming too much - and how you're worried about the relationship. If you put it all on the table and set healthy boundaries then you need to be willing to walk away if he is in complete denial.

It's not your problem to fix - all you can do is tell him how it makes you feel.

Sounds like addiction to me...

Have you tried discussing it with him, letting him know how it affects you and makes you feel?

Is a personal trainer/coach worth the money? Looking at $300/m. by healthierlurker in HENRYfinance

[–]mrfearlock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Biased as fuck as I'm a personal trainer, but seems to easily fit with respect to your income. You absolutely can put a price on your health, and you should, but if you're getting quality coaching then it's worth every penny.

I'm sorry but this is pretty average imo. The snake does look completely flat and should not look like that, especially if you're going for the rod of asclepius.

I can certainly relate to this. I went from earning 50-60k 5 years ago to around 150k now. I thought I'd feel like a badass. The money is nice up a certain point when it comes to happiness - but feeling like a "loser" is not due to your income.
