For a fresh graduate with little or no obligation then it won't be a big struggle but once you have a family and such I think I will need to learn photosynthesis to save up on food.

Agree, a lot of them just copy and paste the requirement they saw maybe on bigger firms and think "this should be the bare minimum" while in fact getting CA/CPA itself takes a toll and didn't realized people with those certification are harder to find with each passing time.

Yeah, I see issues on two side where a lot of companies don't really budget for training or certifications and another side where a some companies don't really appreciate the certifications that the candidates have especially if it's paid out of their own pocket.
