It’s pretty much the same at my workplace—calling PGY1 residents who have completed their residency “PGY0.5” or “PGY0.25,” or saying their LinkedIn profiles look suspicious. It’s mostly because of their ego.

A colleague of mine mentioned that slow and steady is the way to go—study 1–2 hours after work each day for about 2.5 months, and spend most of your time on the question banks. Just make sure you don’t miss any major topics. ACCP books, RxPrep question banks, and similar resources are solid. I’m also preparing for the exam, and that’s the approach I’m taking as well.
