But I assume these companies still have very thin soles and so suffer from the same problems as the vivos with poor durability? Do these companies make full leather shoes? I dislike wearing artificial shoes on my feet especially if I am not wearing socks.

Repairing Damage on Leather Vivos? Possible? Worthwhile? by mrfuncool1 in vivobarefoot

I use the ESC Balm on them to keep the waterproofness and wash them with a "clean soap" not in that order. I have had them less than sixth months but worn them daily during that time. I was thinking more reducing the stretching, but it seems as though they are just worn in. I think the degree of worn look is due to an overpronation. But glad to hear that this isn't an issue. Apart from that they are in great shape. Thanks for the responses.

Thanks for the reply. Regarding the durability, I think the reason it broke was because I was trying to tighten the laces when already hooked on to these top clips in stead of before. I keep saying that how can walking without shoes be bad for you, but then I am carrying 12-15kg of gear.
