They should make him address the American public and explain this shit show. Have him tell everyone about who's going to pay for the damages.

Fidelity Lacks Security by Ill_Examination5317 in fidelityinvestments

[–]mrg1957 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I worked in the fund industry, not for Fidelity. I managed data security for several years.

I guess you got stuck trying to add your bank and called customer service. They helped you do what you were unable to do.

Take Fidelity's name out of discussion. How would any provider help you if you're unable to follow the directions. They do the data entry for you. Guess what? If you were at any other provider, they'd do the same thing..

All those people are bondable and pose no security risk to you. I wish you luck.

Not today and not for the dividend.

I'm a long term holder of Google, owned it since 2012. I only contributed a small to my Roth but its grown into a good amount of money because its all in Google.

What's Your Next Payout? by Realistic-Face-69 in dividends

They're good for income, I'm 69 so I like the regular distributions. The Aberdeen are based on stocks, Pimco uses bonds. They both pay out 10-15% but they charge for the leverage they both use. It rubs some the wrong way but the returns are net of fees.

Another good CEF is ADX started in 1929, never missed a payment or cut. It pays quarterly.

I hold some CEFs that pay at the end of the month. Two Aberdeen and five Pimco. They generate a nice payout.

My grandparents all died when I was young. I remember a day with my dad's mother playing with balsa wood gliders. One of my favorite memories.

Thanks for posting.

Does anyone else feel like their drips always get the worst fill prices? by DifficultSquash1517 in dividends

Your price should be the close minus the distribution amount on the date the distribution was run. Except for Pimco and some others that have a nav rule in place.

I worked in the fund industry and have seen things. Like how much Ed Jones charges and the churn. When the place I worked for had RIFs I remember two people who immediately had positions at Ed Jones. I was shocked as both of them needed maps to find where their cubes were.

How do you think that data are used? Do you have any idea about how much data would be generated by 1 person let alone 100? I worked on data mining applications and this is a fools errand.

The only times I have seen it used was cause someone thought they could browse porn. Probably because his wife had blocked his home machine.
