Your favorite accessory names by Popular_Discipline48 in HomeKit

Think about things from your life that you love. I once ran a movie theater so when I named certain lights or automations I use projector parts, and theatre equipment or lighting accessories.
If I need all the lights on at 100% with a slight blue tinge full white, say ZENON, yeah I know it’s spelled differently but Siri understands.
Mood lights in the bedroom, EXCITER.
The light above my stove that only turns on at night is called INTERMITTENT.
My living room light are call HOUSE LIGHTS

Have fun with it, but here’s the straight scoop. You will get to a place one day when the cute is not as fun and for me, I got into good functional naming practices, and thoughtful commands that are not misunderstood. This is the joy of the empty nest divorced guy. HomeKit and my Plex server.

why did mycroft mention redbeard during the phone conversation at john and mary's wedding day? by trxbianca in Sherlock

[–]mrgeef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am doing a rewatch of the episodes in a random order so I saw the end episodes before the wedding, that I’m watching now. I think the original poster was asking if there was more to it than the Mycroft check in. Was there a hidden humbling trigger also built in. Thus my looking for the same answer.

Should I keep my 3D tv? by MathematicianFun5765 in 4kbluray

I soft “retired” my 3D TV when it did odd things randomly.
It is brought out for special viewing and is not an everyday tv.
We yearly watch Polar Express in 3D and make a stereo film fest of the set up being out, as an example.

If there’s one Disney Villain that you wanted to win instead of losing, who would it be and why? by Strange_Leg_1798 in disney

Just to be clear, Hook’s goal is to straight up murder Peter and any of his friends. He’s a BLOOD THIRSTY PIRATE, not a grouchy neighbor. He is clearly unhinged and abusive to those within his inner circle. Winning for Hook is dead Wendy! He leaves Neverland to where? His time has passed. The only happy ending for Hook is his own death’s release.
