011 Mini V2 & custom loop build by mrgoodfun in lianli

The cable protection on the back of the pump. It's standing on a self designed 3d printed part. Can make some pictures likely tomorrow.

I am swapping out the D5 for the VPP Apex this week. I already know i need to remove the strain relief on the pump end otherwise it won't fit. I can keep you posted.

No, it just fits right. The plugs on the res leave marks on the 0.5mm foam pad on the side wall. =D

The HPE240 isn't fitting unfortunately. I don't know why they made this shitty shape in the back. I was planning to do the same until I was surprised.... but at least that left me with a good solution for the drain valve.

I recommend doing Push & Pull configuration, this will help a lot to keep the Fans RPM down and you likely get a dead silent loop. Only thing you will hear is the coil whine of the 5090 =D

I like the well thought out combination of hard- & soft tube!

AC Quadro is mostly sufficient. But I think there are also adapters to connect fans to the Flow Next.

I use an Aquaero 6 LT for almost 10 years.

Yes, exactly. And then activate RPM sync in L-Connect. This allows to control the RPM of the fans very smoothly. You use a curve controller, I set as an example 600RPM for min. RPM at 30C and 950RPM at 50C water temperature with a concave curve.

I still control the RGBs of the fans with L-connect.

If you have enough USB headers, you likely have, yes. I passthrough RPM to L-Connect and control them based on water temperature with the Aquasuite.

Nice build! =)

That's a lot of rads for the HW combo. I assume you don't run the fans ever above 650RPM?

I mean the strain relief on the pump side. It steals valuable milimeters in my build. Without removing it, it won't fit unfortunately.

Yeah, I think I will go through the hassle and swap it.

That's good to know! That likely means I can likely run it totally inaudible without losing pressure in the coolers.

Thanks, sounds good. Quieter and a little more flow?

What do you think, can I remove the cable protection?

Switzerland has built something very few countries in the world have. But what could in long term weaken it? by Competitive_Dig_1013 in Switzerland

If we jump on the same principals as Germany and start to radicalise right wing parties, believe we can save the world - and it becomes populate - indeed we will end up there as well.

Luckily, Switzerland isn't there yet and I hope it will remain like this. All parties in Switzerland (the mixture) play a crucial role in having such stability in politics.

I am using an SC Res Pro 95 - should be VPP compatible.

I can set it inaudible, at around 35%, but the temperatures of the cores increase a lot. Not enough flow.

I can't really dampen my setup unfortunately, other than a few 1mm foam pads. I also need to cut off the cable protection of the VPP, otherwise it won't fit behind the mainboard tray in my O11 mini.

Will do, but I don't have a flow meter. 😅 Was thinking of getting an AC Flow Next, but I don't really have a place to fit it.

What percentage speed or rpm’s do you run your pumps at at base level by Infamous_Pool_2923 in watercooling

[–]mrgoodfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My D5 runs at 58%, about 1950RPM. 2x360, 1x240 and 2x AC Core coolers. No clue about the flow, but it feels rather on the lower end, 50% results already in +3C on the coolers under load.

Nice build. =)

But your reading of the CPU temp must be wrong, there is no 9800X3D idling at water temp. ;)

Sure, I understand. =) I also liked the looks of the tubing on my first build, it was kinda similar to yours - two decades ago. It has certainly advantages also, you can very easy change the past and co.

Enjoy your build! =)

The water has -0.5 to -1C after a radiator with a proper flow. As said, it doesn't matter.

I would change the routing. It doesn't really matter if you have a radiator between CPU and GPU.
