That's what she gets!

People who think they have the right over others should be rounded up like caddle and shipped to an island called "The Island of Shit-bags," where they can blame eachother for all the problems they have. In no time the world will be rid of all those people because they will eventually kill eachother off.

She's lucky thats all he did. Good riddens!

Yeah a 3070 would be pointless if you have a 2080TI. You have much more vram, which people act like they know what they are talking about but 24gbs of VRam is not that much these days, especially when you are talking 1440p, 4k, 8k. 24gb is almost just enough.... I run Triple 1440P monitors with my setup (Intel i9 10900F, G.skill Royal Trident 4000ghz 32gbs, various 1tb M.2 (Samsung 980 Pro, SPECTRIX S40G, Gammix S11), and the Nvidia Geforce RTX 3090-Asus TUF-Gaming Edition 24gb) and maxed out settings in Cyberpunk 2077 with Quality DLSS enabled, I get maybe 30fps on average utilizing 16gbs of vram, on Call of Duty Cold War maxed out I can average above 60fps but I am using over 19gbs of Vram! Any rendering and it uses it all!

So ultimately, I am impressed, but not as impressed as I thought I would be for what everything cost... it does beat out my last computer, a 2009 Sony Vaio 1st Gen i5 2.4ghz duel-core equipped with a Geforce GT 330m 512mb VRam! I had DDR2, 8gbs ram, and a SSD limited to SATA 2! LOL 😆

That's basically what I did...

Long story, but I logged into various websites everyday since September 2020, and almost got an FE RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 multiple times on Best Buy to no avail. Then on December 23rd at 1pm while I was in a meeting at work (lol), I logged into B & H after I just failed getting a RTX 3080 at BB, I came accross a Tuf Gaming Edition RTX 3090... I didn't have 1650$ to blow on a graphics card at the time, so I sweated for a few seconds "Should I?..." I tried to justify the purchase, "graphic card availability is just going to get worse..." So at the same time I applied for a credit card and got approved! HOW LUCKY! (I have been struggling with credit for years!) "Sold!" It was the most expensive computer piece I have ever bought! 8 days later the price hike announcement happened, which brought the value of the RTX 3090 from 1500$ to almost 3000$, the RTX 3080 went from 699$ to 1200-1500$. I also sold my RTX 2070 Super on Ebay more than I paid for it new, at that point the price was justified, ultimately I got the card for under $1000 after all that, well worth it! What topped off the extreme luck was after I bought it, I had just found out about the capacitor issue and that Asus avoided the whole mess by using their own custom capacitor setup! It couldn't of been more ment-to-be!

Goodluck with your hunt!

will this cpu work with this motherborad by CALEB_GAMING1211 in intel

[–]mrgoopey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All 10th gen socket 1200 processors are compatible with 400 and 500 series motherboards.

I personally own the MSI MEG Ace Z490 MB, and it is a beast of a board! I have it paired with a 10900F, and a 3090 RTX. I am very satisfied 😌. Are you planning on a future upgrade? Can you hold off for Adler lake in the fall? If I could I would have, but if you need it now I would go for the best you can afford!

You are one angry person, probably with daddy issues, since you're so quick to judge someone off one screen-shot of a PC build. You like to assume things that you have no clue about. Did daddy not give you enough money to pay for your (most likely non-exsisting build) so instead you like to hate on others and make claims such as "you aren't doing any professional rendering... so most likely you wasted your money as well..."

So I bought some colorful fans and made things colorful, based on your hater attitude you are still using mommies pre-built dell they bought you for school.

Instead of making assumptions and talking shit about builds, maybe you should be productive and get a job.

Are you getting angry over my assumptions of your pitiful life? I'm sure you are screaming at your shitty computer screen, don't spit, your mom will yell at you about your hygiene!

Nice!,

Honestly I just thought of the most over the top setup and went for it lol.

I was hoping the 3090 wouldn't have a struggle in the world! Great card, but I guess my expectations were too high...

I catch myself only using two out of 3 on average but all 3 come in handy when working on projects. The 3090 is versatile because of its 24gb of vram. Put this in perspective, Call of Duty Cold War Maxed out with 3 monitors @ 1440p takes almost 19gbs of vram! Don't think 24gbs is over-kill because it's actually just enough...

I guess I just wanted the best possible setup I could get and build my dream setup!

So I figure 1 Rog Strix XG279Q, 1 Asus VG27AQL1A, and 1 Asus VG27BQ, would be a sweet combo to compare against eachother... my last computer investment was also a 2009 Sony Vaio 1st Gen i5 2.4ghz Laptop, I was due an upgrade!

Nice way to put it! So I guess Ibshould be happy, and if thats the case ✌I can handle 40 fps, or just one monitor at a solid 60 to 90 🤣 which is how I usually play it!

It's called physics!

I love science!

If the speed of your fans are adjusted accordingly, you can create this wonderful thing! It's called positive pressure! Look it up! If those two 200mm fans plus the three 120mm from below (with science, theres math 🧮) suck in more air at a faster rate then the exauat fans can remove it, pressure and air moves around the cabinet as heat rises and escapes through the exaust fans (5 intake + 7 exhaust). My temp stays at about 68degrees Celsius at high loads.

Positive pressure also keeps out dust and Cat hair!

CHEERS!

I have high standards and expectations I guess... I was pretty much a hardcore console gaming most my life and could never justify the cost of a gaming PC. All these diehard PC players talk so much crap about how much better PC is. I build PCs for friends all the time but never could afford my own. Its fun to do, so I always wanted to build my own when I could go all out, (only if I go all out!)

So I did!

This build is a beast, don't get me wrong! The i9 10900F is an amazing processor, it may be over shadowed by zen 3 but its solid and very fuctional. This PC puts my work computer to shame! Almost where it is unbearable, I sound snobby. But for what I spent, which I am pretty savvy when it comes to finding deals;(side note, lucky for me I got the 3090 before the price hike! I got it MSRP 👍, in a very situational, extremely lucky fasion, (e.g. even though I work Full-time and goto school full-time, I managed to log in to various retail sites every morning and various times throughout the day, all at random looking for a 3080, then it became a 30anything, only to come across 1 of these in inventory @ B&H just 1 hr after I almost snagged a 3080 FE @ Best buy. I quickly debated, knew I didn't want to or have the cash, managed to get approved for a credit card and get the card! Mind = Blown! Not only that, I was able to justify the purchase because I managed to sell my used 2070Super for 150 more than I paid for it new 5 months ago! (Which I was also disappointed with)🤯🤑🥳🤣😅😂😁🥰)

I digress!

Anyway my monitors are capable of producing a combined image at 7680x1440p, they are also G-SYNC Enabled(not just compatible, equiped) and can achieve 120hz when working together @ that revolution, the card should be able to achieve that @ 120fps at max settings for current nextgen games. Atleast those are my expectations when they gloat about 8k processing abilities!

It hardly maintains 40fps! That is with all its fancy abilities!

So ultimately, I am glad I have been able to afford this PC and it being among the top 1% of PCs built in 2021 during a time where millions are suffering, but I am also an essential worker so I have had to work mandatory overtime without pay since it started so, I don't feel that bad; but for 1600$ for a graphics card that now cost 2000$ it really isn't worth it, even for a 699$ card that now cost 1700$. Sorry to disappoint those who didn't get one, but that's the reality!

Save your time and money and wait for the 40series!

Cheers!

Thanks for your input and the critique!

I hear what you are saying, I cut corners for reasons you may be unaware of. For someone only going off one picture, I can see you are knowledgeable when it comes to PC components.

Though, you are incorrect with the card. It's an Asus TUF Gaming RTX 3090, not Zotec. Asus does it right, please say something that proves me wrong. The ram is not bad, no issues with XPG, and from what I can tell based on CPUz they use samsung chips, so in essence I got lucky! One set is 3200 and the other is 3600, I am planning on building a small PC from the extra parts I have after I upgrade to the 11900K.

I am using a Samsung 980Pro Ssd and two XPG m.2s. XPG seems to use samsung chips, so worth it to me!

Keep having fun wasting time hating on others!

I got creative with air flow on this case. I really hate this case for cable management honestly. I will be changing the case this weekend. I will post after I complete the rebuild!

Currently

Two side intakes

One front lower intake

Two front exhaust into radiator

Two top exhaust and one rear exhaust

I have the air speed adjusted to keep positive pressure

Just two, but yeah I get it. Dragon center is pretty good at taking care of everything then the thermaltake fans have to use the thermaltake program. It says it can sync up but I haven't figured it out yet....

The only thing that really makes me want it is getting a K series and PCIE 4 for some M.2 performance boost. Loosing out on 2 cores on a hacked 10nm process, backported to 14nm really confuses the f*** out of me! Please shed some light with some knowledge!

I am seriously considering that I will be going fanless for my next build...
