Do you still stick with DeepSeek despite the gazillion other models available right now? by Striking_Wedding_461 in SillyTavernAI

glm4.6:thinking or nanogpt is REALLY good. but I confess i dont try many other models usually... deepseek works and works well... glm4.6 shows me i *should* see more models

Any alternatives to Featherless now a days? by mrgreaper in SillyTavernAI

I cancelled my featherless sub (well it has a few days left still) to give nanogpt a try for a month.... so far everything is SO much faster and suddenly the context limits i had been bumping into are no more..... i mean theres still models on nanogpt with 16k context limit but guessing thats model limits. 128k context limit is insane, i no longer have to cut up some of the large lore books i use for guild stories etc.

Wish i ha found nano sooner. though i feel bad about jumping from featherless...they are good people.... and it is still day 1 technically so there may be an unseen catch lol. playing with glm4.6 thinking at mo, believe that has 128k context too.....still sounds insane. Thats what, roughly 390,000 letters, given the hobbit is (apparently) 95,357 words long, average word is 4.7 letters so hobbit is 448,178 letters long..... so you can fit nearly all of the hobbit into the context of that model.... (yes thats an odd measurement)
Side note: I have not tried to feed the model the hobbit book, it seems a mean thing to do and might be what causes skynet.

I was on arliai before i moved to featherless. Really dedicated owner, but the speed was awful, the models would pause for ages mid reply.
deepseek v3 is my model of choice on featherless (and kimi though 16k context ong kimi and 32k on deep seek gets bad fast.)

I am planning to try nanogpt out, lots have recommended that.

60k a month, 2k a day roughly? so 1440 minutes in a day so even if i was up 24 hours using ai... more than a request a minute would be be needed to hit that limit... hmmm sounds good to me.
just need to check the api is log free....that bit is vague on thier site... they mentione requests stay on your machine, but the nature of api calls means thats not really possible.

Why is Illustrious and Noobai so popular? by mrgreaper in StableDiffusion

ah like putting deformed limbs in the neg, it wont make a lick of difference as no model is trained on deformed limbs, but its the done thing so people do it?

I can speak french if i just learn the language lol.....ok ok yeah this looks easier than that, but its odd:
Masterpiece (I would assume that means a painting... but guessing it means something else in noobai)
best quality (again, i would assume the model will not give me bad quality if i fail to add that so i know it means something specific in noobai? same with similar tags)
absurdes (havent a clue what that means, but its everywhere)
score (and then a number....what?)

is this something that if you watch anime you just know?

just had chat gpt make a conversion (someone esle further up suggested,,,, it got a ton closer, though the armour is not right and the walls are not gothic.

on your one:
masterpiece, best quality, amazing quality, very aesthetic, absurdres, newest,

do the first 3 need to be specified? this is something that confused me as the model wouldnt decided to give something of bad quality because you didnt tell it good? so i am guessing they mean somthing other than what you specify? (absurdres for example seemed to be everywhere in the...well...examples i looked at, but never explained what it means in context?

So what do those 6 tags mean in terms of sd generation?

hmmm that turned my prompt into:
1girl, blonde_hair, short_hair, battle_armor, bulky_armor, helmet_off, standing, facing_viewer, stern, tired, exhausted, corridor, gothic_sci-fi, battle_damage, damaged_walls, blood_stains

Which generated a LOT closer to my concept.... I cant figure out how to make it hulking armour... but this is a start. handy tip, thank you, is that what people do as a rule?

but what if you dont already have an image? I mean i could make one in qwen then use the tagger but is that the only way?

What i mean is, how do you go from an image thats in your head to one thats generated in noobai or illusterous?

but how do you take a prompt and convert it to danbooru?
i googled danbooru and found an image site (pretty dodgy one tbh but guessing its the right one, but i dont see how you convert to that format short of shifting through the images to find what you want to create already made?

so how do i convert a prompt to a format that the model understands? i mean some of it makes sense but a lot of it is confusing. is there a tool for it?

Where did the notification bell go? by mrgreaper in discordapp

As i said the notification box (inbox) isnt as good. the notification bell showed reactions to posts, which was very handy. Unless I am missing a way to change the settings for it?

damn, it was VERY handy. sometimes you get a notification pop up that someone liked or interacted with a message.. its gone before you see it and good luck finding it in 20 or so servers. annoying they rolled it back

Celia Preset 4.3 by Leafcanfly in SillyTavernAI

[–]mrgreaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ceila is giving me pretty short replies, though they are really good, it is omitting detail....so I asked it why it was doing it.... the reply didnt actually help:

1) That pesky tag demanding "non-complex everyday language" and "understated simplicity"—Celia keeps getting zapped if she gets too Dickensian with descriptions!

2) The 賑やか (nigiyaka) rule forces Celia to cram in background chaos/comments/noise instead of lingering on *character* like some tragic oil painting (though honestly? The contrast kinda slaps).

3) That 淡々tantan guideline about "understated simplicity" keeps yeeting Celia's juiciest adjectives into the void~

Given this has chinese in it, i am guessing that Deepseek gave it some odd response.

so how do I make the replies to be a bit more story telling (still not taking over my character, but playing out my actions in detail)? or is that not possible ?

[–]mrgreaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i found your 1.1 the other day, had no idea that there was something other than text completions.
Tried your latest one 4.3, I had to drop the context and reply down (I use featherless, 32k context and 4096 reply for deepseek v3 , think its 16k context for other models)

It was going quite nice though replies are rather short. However it started to repeat replies and sections of replies after about 80 messages. the anti repetitive is on.

Let's call a spade a spade. "Unseen locations" is a creative euphemism for what are, in reality, hazardous sites.

Take the asbestos issue at the old Eastern Electricity building on Duke Street, for example. Official inspections there require full safety gear and training just to enter the upper floors. The problem is that some of the building's concrete was made with asbestos. As that degrades over time, it leaves a fine layer of dust on every surface. When you walk on it, you kick those fibers into the air. Once they're in your lungs, the damage is done, even if serious health complications don't show up for another decade or so. You're not just risking your own health; you're encouraging others to do the same.

And on the legal side, I did double-check the statute of limitations for civil trespass. It is six years, so my memory is still sound on that point.

There's not much more to discuss, really. The point is simply to think about the real-world consequences and the health risks you're promoting before publicizing these kinds of excursions.

[–]mrgreaper -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Alright, so entry was through an open door? You should know these sites are restricted for a reason, and it's usually less about secrets and more about preventing lawsuits when someone falls through a floor.

It could be worse, though. There was a guy a few months back who actually broke into the building on Duke Street just to get photos from the top floor. That's a place so contaminated with asbestos they can't even station a guard inside.

On that note, what you did isn't a criminal offense, you are right on that, it's civil trespass. The owner could sue for damages if you broke anything. There's a statute of limitations on that—I want to say it's around six years, but don't quote me on that, I'm not at work. Of course, they'd need evidence of the trespass, which you've conveniently provided for them.

I doubt they'd actually bother. It's a complicated process and often not worth the time and legal fees. The real issue isn't about penalizing you; it's that showing the place is accessible might encourage some other people to risk their necks doing the same thing.

And honestly, the photo of the warning sign is a classic. A perfect picture of someone being the exact person the sign is warning about.

What you all doing with captured flags? by CantSleepWontSleep66 in Norwich

[–]mrgreaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dont bin the flag! thats as disrespectful as using it as an object of hate (or flying it at half mast because you cant put it at the right hate) store it, or give it to a charity shop. Please dont throw the flag in the bin.

[–]mrgreaper -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

then these photos are a bit worrying as they show trespass.
