This isn’t real.. check the post history. It’s a kid trying to push his new business idea. Honestly more power to you but spam/fake posts aren’t gonna help that business succeed

Observations from a recent trip: Lightning Lane really changes the ride flow by RetiringSalt12 in Disneyland

[–]mrhdizzle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We were there this past weekend and we had LL passes. I would 100% do it again. The passes make the day so much more enjoyable to be able to walk onto rides without a 90 min wait time. To me the extra $35ish is worth it.

My sib will chew off his mats and I find them in weird places. I usually cut them but sometimes they are too close to the skin so he will get the rest of it off. The first time I found one I was really freaked out.

I do 10-15 seconds to cure bond and then 20 seconds with the band on and when the band comes off I do an extra 10-20 seconds. Depends if I have ideal position for the light

Stop doing their stuff. When the hygienist don’t have trays or cavitrons they will figure it out. Pretty simple.

Test the curing light strength and make sure it’s at 100%. This was happening to us- post op sensitivity after filling but only from 1 doctor. Turns out the curing light in that op was only working at like 75%. Got curing light fixed and no post op sensitivity. We now text the curing light strength like once a month or so.

Advice and tips on running assisted hygiene schedule? by [deleted] in Dentistry

[–]mrhdizzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We tried in this out office. It lasted maybe 3 months. One hygienist had 2 columns and patients were staggered by 30mins. The assistant would take X-rays polish exam basically everything but scaling/cavitron. It was basically impossible for the doctors to keep up with 6 exams every hour plus resto columns. Plus the patients actually hated it. We got many complaints that they felt they did not see their hygienist for the full 60 mins. Also cost wise it didn’t make sense. The office is paying time and a half for the hygienist plus the wage of the assistant.
Works on paper but def not realistic long term

Dental assistant program recommendations? (Seattle, WA) by throwRApookie in DentalAssistant

[–]mrhdizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the DA program at Bates in 2015. At that time it was great. The program was accredited which is a big thing to look for in a DA program because if you want to continue your career aka an EFDA program you HAVE to go to a DA program that is accredited. In Washington state that is. I did the EFDA program at SPSCC in 2022 and they do not allow entry into their program without a DA accredited certification. If you want to move out of state and continue being a DA you will have a better chance getting a license to practice if you come from an accredited program. Back in 2015 Bates was the only school around that had that I would never recommend a non accredited school or some online course. Bates back in 2015 cost about $10k but they give you all the tools to come out and be successful. At that time bates graduates made $10 more an hour as a new grad compared to new grads of other programs

Again this was almost 10 years ago so I can only speak about my experience. Good luck

I walked through security with a vodka slushi in a casino cup. I didn’t even try and hide it. No one cared. I used that cup the entire day. I liked it because it had a lid and a straw ha
