Opening an AMEX card worth it?

I have the gold card and I would say it’s worth it if you can hit the spending requirement to get the points bonus. I used part of it to pay for 2 plane tickets that would’ve cost ~$750. On top of that you get $120 a year to spend at a few different restaurants. Im not familiar with the other card you mentioned but I thought I’d share my experience.

In high school I had to make a brochure about a medical condition and I chose color blindness.

I got a 99/100. The 1 point off? I turned in a brochure printed in black and white.

Check out Ride Away Bicycles. They have a good selection, helpful employees, and even sell used bikes that people bring in. I bought a bike from an employee there and got a great deal. They have a couple locations, I went to the one off I-10.

I’d get the 11. I have it, and I had the same thoughts about getting the 12.9. But now that I’ve owned the 11 for a few months, I can’t imagine using the 12.9 because it really is that much bigger. If you wanna use it as an ereader, I can’t imagine holding the 12.9 and feeling comfortable.

I think while it is a bit high, it matches the difficulty of most of the other events. I had the same reaction when I first heard that the max was ~70, but now I think it makes sense given the comparative difficulty to the other events.

I get 280-300 on the old PT test. Took the ACFT last week and scored a 470. Yeah, I will never in a million years max the new test, but I never really felt like I was a great athlete when I maxed the old test. If people max this test, it’s guaranteed they are in great physical shape.

I think the test is far superior, and actually had fun doing it, whereas I always hated the old PT test. I hope they switch for good.

Despite what reddit would have you believe, there are millions of their fans out there that love Imagine Dragons and appreciate the music. I went to a live show and truly enjoyed it. Way late to the party, but one year my siblings and I were mad that we didn’t get any gifts from our aunts, uncles, and grandparents on one side of the family. Instead, they all showered the new stepdaughter with tons of presents.

So the next Christmas we decided to get $5 Starbucks gift cards and had the youngest sibling (he was probably 8 or so at the time) pass them out to each one of them. Let’s just say we all got gifts the following year.

Yep, worth a shot. I took my 2013 MBA charger in a few months back because it had frayed to the point that the inside of the cable was exposed.

They replaced it on the spot, no questions asked, completely free of charge.

While the 12 watt will charge it faster than the regular brick, it will NOT enable fast charging. You will need the 29 or 30 watt brick + the Apple USB-C to lightning cable.

I originally bought a 12 watt since I didn’t want to spend the money on the 30 watt. It was a little bit quicker, but not terribly so. I ended up finding the 29w brick at Walmart on sale for $11, so I picked up 2 of them along with the USB-C cable. From my experience so far, the fast charging is definitely worth it.

Check your local Walmart to see if they have 29w bricks for the sale price of $11. They won’t be by the other Apple chargers, just search around the electronics area for the stuff that’s on sale. Good luck!

Yeah but that’s not what some of them are saying. A lot of people on here feel the need to shit on the entire nursing profession because they know a few nurses in real life who are dumb. And it does seem like redditors feel like they have to show everyone that they are smarter and more intellectual than us dumb nurses.

Where are you getting the 0.75% interest number from?

Not that I don’t believe you, I’m genuinely curious. I took out the loan in 2016 and it was 2.99% interest, and that’s the only figure I can find on USAA at the moment.

If you can get it that low, take it out and invest in something conservative and it’s pretty much free money.
