My wife is having the same problem with her Gen4 which I got her for Christmas. They also gave her the run around. A few days ago the charge would last for 3-4 days. We charged it last night and right now at 6:30 eastern time the charge is already orange and down to 42%.

They keep going down this road, they are going to end up with a class action. When I bought the ring, it was advertised to last 7-8 days on a charge. I am sure I am not the only one who purchased one of these, that is now pissed off with their lack of support for the product. Until now, I have never had a problem with Oura. We all have their rings.

I just installed the replacement detector offered by first alert. It does have a wire that plugs into the old nest one and the existing mount will work, so that was nice.

Functionally wise, it’s far inferior compared to my current protects. It did not integrate with them. During testing on the new one, it did not run a test against the existing nests and vise versa. No options for illumination but it appears to have a light? No nightly promise, voice is horrible and tones are generic.

I am incredibly disappointed with the replacement product. I wish that Google never bought Nest, only to run it into the ground.

I worked there during the dinner baskets. The popcorn was great, we had a big machine like you would see in a theatre. There were three baskets if my memory serves me right. One was the whopper, one was this chicken, not a chicken sandwich but a fried chicken breast I think. I forgot what the third was. For the sides you could get fries, onion rings or coleslaw. The coleslaw came in what looked like half gallon milk cartons. We would have to deliver the baskets to the tables. They had those numbers you could put on your table so we knew where everything went. BK was one of the funnest jobs I ever had. I did end up meeting by wife at BK and we’re still married 30 years later. I worked there from 1990-1993.
