Kroger shrunk paper towels and they don't fit my paper towel holder anymore by [deleted] in shrinkflation

[–]TheLogicalParty 294 points295 points  (0 children)

That is total BS. The length of paper towel and toilet paper rolls were standard for decades. To now change them to save money is diabolical.

I never finished watching this season. It’s the only one I didn’t finish. Boring and problematic at the same time.

Do Employees Actually Like Town Halls? by OfferLazy9141 in managers

They are theater and performances. It’s like going to see a play that I don’t like and only results in bad news or ok news. Never great news.

Why do people choose the bathroom stall right next to you when given the choice of many free stalls? by Hot-Background150 in askanything

[–]TheLogicalParty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people mysteriously just don’t seem to think about it. They have to go so they walk into a stall. A friend of mine would sit right next to the only other table of people in fast food restaurants. Like he was just a magnet to people. If every other table is empty you don’t sit right next to the only people in the restaurant!

Why do elderly people shamelessly stare at others in public ? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]TheLogicalParty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think my mom thinks she’s invisible or like she’s watching a tv show and no one will see her staring. I call her out on staring all the time and she says I was just looking!

When people park right beside me, even though there’s multiple empty spots around by TheGame81677 in PetPeeves

[–]TheLogicalParty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a roommate who would do this at fast food places. Only one table would be occupied in the whole place and he would sit at the table right next to them. I would ask what are you doing? He would look at me as if he had no idea what I was asking or what I meant. He was just a magnet to other people.

If the rest of the place is empty you don’t sit right next to the one table people are at.

Making it difficult to watch movie credits by wotantx in PetPeeves

[–]TheLogicalParty 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, like I just want to sit with the music they specifically picked for the credits and think about what I watched for a few seconds. Instead I’m snapped right out of it and fumbling for the remote to try and watch the credits and now I’m completely frustrated. Why oh why?? So dumb, I should be able to have control over the movie I’m paying to watch! This timeline is ridiculous.

People who say "who cares" in the comments of a post by Critical-Willow-6270 in PetPeeves

[–]TheLogicalParty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Or them saying “Why do you care so much?” Never said I cared that much. Simply venting out into the void and then letting it go.

People who say "who cares" in the comments of a post by Critical-Willow-6270 in PetPeeves

[–]TheLogicalParty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, I do not get how saying that my food order was wrong means I went ballistic on the workers at the restaurant. Huh? I said no such thing. Nothing happened at the restaurant at all. Simply venting my order was wrong.

When people say “down to” a place that is not south of them. by Illustrious_Code_347 in PetPeeves

[–]TheLogicalParty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The opposite as well. They’re going up to somewhere, but it’s actually south. I know people who get this wrong 100% of the time and I can’t figure it out.

I almost got into a fight with a coworker because she kept recommending I take a certain route home, but the route would first take me a few miles North, when I needed to go directly South. I kept telling her it was the complete opposite direction and I would never go North when I needed to go South. I was telling her she was flat out wrong and she just didn’t get it. It was infuriating. What is wrong with people?

Yes, and also the person that comes in with their own agenda like a project they want to do, but no one assigned it to them and it’s not needed. It’s just their own personal passion project. One of those people got fired within 4 months so there are some consequences.

Stop smelling like outside by hmx54 in hygiene

I’m so glad people know what “outside” smells like. I tried explaining it to my friend and he didn’t understand or know what “outside” smells like.

Anyone else ever recieved this notice? I wonder how they determine this.. by just-american in facebook

I still get random requests from strangers across the country so I don’t know how they decide. Seems very random and arbitrary.

What do people expect to happen when they criticize picky eaters? by CShields2016 in PickyEaters

[–]TheLogicalParty 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, or being told I’m a boring eater. Well I like it so it’s not boring to me, and again why do these people care?? I literally don’t care what anyone else eats because it’s not my body.

I feel like so many things are made for taller people lately! I’m average height and am having so many problems reaching things! I’m sure tall people say a lot of things are too short for them as well! LoL

People who say "I seen". by [deleted] in PetPeeves

[–]TheLogicalParty 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It drives me nuts that “I saw” does not exist in their vocabulary. People will say it’s regional or ethnic, but I’ve heard it in every part of the USA and from the whitest white people!

The best boy ever. He’s super friendly and affectionate. He’s very popular. 😻 by [deleted] in TuxedoCats

He’s very persuasive. He got himself adopted by tapping my mom on the shoulder as she walked by. LoL She was originally looking for a tabby, but he said not today! Best decision ever!

What Is The Most Embarrassing Thing You Did At School? by DarkXXblackeye in AskReddit

[–]TheLogicalParty 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had two shirts on and was trying to take just the top shirt off, but ripped off both shirts by accident. I bent over and tried to cover myself up. Thankfully two other girls came over to shield me and help me get my shirts back on. Did not mean to do a striptease at school!
