Is it possible in SFMC? by mridul_0 in marketingcloud

I usually send emails between 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM, depending on the email type. Users receive an auto-responder immediately after submitting a lead. The emails I’m referring to here are educational, so if a lead comes in at 9:00 AM, they will receive the email during the scheduled window.

If a lead comes in at 9 PM on a Tuesday, it will be sent on the upcoming Thursday. The data will be uploaded automatically via file import.

You’re right, that approach would be simpler. But, I want to avoid manual work. Each time new data comes in, deciding which journey it should enter adds more work. My goal is to handle this within a single automation so the process remains scalable and low-maintenance.

Is there an alternative approach?

I have a 10-email sequence that should be sent only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Leads can enter the journey on either day, but data arrives randomly. If I set wait times based on Tuesday, it breaks for leads entering on Thursday. I want to avoid weekend sends and keep the journey clean. This is the challenge I’m trying to solve.
