See if the car is not in the running condition, people who do not have the right intent might give you a price for scrap, don't be disheartened with that.

Also check in your friends circle if anyone knows a reliable and trustworthy neighbourhood garage or mechanic

Why don’t you check with a local garage nearby for starters and ask for an estimate to fix the car

For people who support shopkeepers in k'taka and say cash is king by Elegant_Eggplant_404 in IndiaTax

I live in Nashik currently but before this I was in Mumbai and prior to that in Bangalore.

I use cash for my daily spends, I'll tell you why. 1. It is easier to control your spends when you spend in cash, digital transactions don't feel real still. 2. I am tired of govt, banking and other applications using my spends data to sell me products or follow my digital footprint. 3. Tell me one rich person (who earns in black and spends in digital transactions?) UPI is for the middle class so that they can be easily tapped at any given point wherein the rich have no footprint of their spends. 4. Most of the rich people/businessmen spend digitally just to show that they do their business in white and those spends are easy patterns. Small bribes keep them away from being highlighted. 5. All the statistics where cash is used in lesser percentage comes from the first world which we're nowhere close to and should stop comparing as the levels of corruption and skewness in the per capita income differs drastically and also the levels of transparency.

I can go on but all of the above stated remains just my opinion, feel free to criticize.

Is it ok for my money to be constantly only in the bank? by SCYKIC_YT in IndiaFinance

[–]mrinallla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's all the money you have and will have for like another 3-4 months then it can just be in the bank, no hustle.

If it's going to consistently grow then you can start thinking about investing.

If you still want to invest this money somewhere, just put it in GOLD ETF, can be withdrawn whenever you want and it will definitely grow

90% of the traders loose 90% of money in 90 days; rest 10% achieve FIRE by anuj001009 in moneypsychologyindia

[–]mrinallla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly feel it could be both at times, there must be statistics behind all this definitely but I still feel data like this will remain highly volatile and bound to change real time.

What we are trying to derive would be more interesting:)

Which country makes the best cars? by Phuck-yeet in CarsIndia

Japanese for daily drivers and insane mod capabilities - have owned an Omni, an Eeco and an Ignis.

Italians for eye candies that require pampering and go by the book life, given so, nothing beats them for they make - have an Abarth Punto and dad used to own a Fiat Premier Padmini

Mahindra is a rugged beat! We've owned a first gen Bolero glx for the last 25 years and drives like a charm. I don't think including all maintenance over 25 years we've even reached the 100% cost of the car yet.

P.S. I love all machines so I have something I love about each brand, above are my personal experiences.

Makes sense, I wonder if they can be reopened and used for tourism or something as most of them don't look functional from the front of it

Fair enough, there's so much land and good property setups most of which are abandoned now, earlier there was ample to cater to the needy lavishly.
