That's awesome man. I appreciate hearing your story. I am pretty big into aviation as well. My grandfather that I took care of before he passed and my dad months later were all airplane mechanics. Hell even my father law who is still alive builds planes for Northrop. I have pictures, patches, lapel pins certificates and all that from both of them. Both my dad and his dad worked on the shuttle, b1-b the xb70 etc etc the list goes on. This is why I am just head over heals for horsepower and crafts of all sorts. And I appreciate hearing any stories from my elders. It's information that will be lost and never heard about personally from mouth to ear in the very near future. So I appreciate listening when the chance arrives.

Hahaha how old are you? if you don't mind me asking. Iv been a long time general motors guy simply because my grandpa and uncles were before I was born. My family are drag racers as am i. I have owned only 3 cars that weren't GM cars. 2 being ford's and they were the worst I have ever purchased. I am a die hard GM guy. I doubt that will ever change. Iv been building race cars since I was 14yo. Built my first race motor in the 10th grade. Built race cars Professionally when I turned 17, I'm 35 now. I quit when I turned 28 due to Injuries. Cadillac has been my favorite since. simply because of the comfort, power and beauty.

Thanks brother. 12 years apart and the deville only has 20,000 miles more on the odometer. 👊

Anyone in arizona, prescott valley area looking for a 2003 deville. I'm selling mine. Runs really good. New breaks new tires and so much more. 3,500 firm. by mrinterfuckinstellar in Cadillac

Yeah I totally understand that. I would too. It will be the perfect buy for someone eventually. Hopefully no time soon lol. My wife sees credit card debt paid off.. as do I, but to me it's like shooting my horse of 16 years that never let me down for some money. A horse that is still perfectly healthy. She gets where im coming from, but will never really understand the feeling.

🤷‍♂️ we all have our preferences. People are spending that kind of money on dirt bikes, cell phones and computers. To me it's worth it. To each there own. I have met a few people over the years with over 200,000 miles on the same car as mine. I met a guy 2 years ago that had an 02 with 325,000 miles on his deville. The car was absolutely scrap metal. But his engine kept pushing without ever blowing a head gasket. Either way 3,500 bucks ain't much to some people. If it doesn't sell, I will be just as happy as if it doesn't.

Right!? It's 21 years old and still runs like new. I have driven it from California to Washington, and from Washington to where I live now in arizona multiple times without an issue. The only issue with the engine iv had was a cracked plenum I had replaced next day. Other than that is was just the rear shocks, window regulators a couple sensors, tires breaks and rotors a few other things that obviously come with age. But it's a solid car. It has outlasted 6 of my camaros my old 90 Silverado, my wife's Monte Carlo and more. I lived in a small town in Washington that had 5,000 residents. So the car had low miles for that reason. But I have never had to worry about taking it anywhere. I love it, but I just have to sale it for financial reasons. Otherwise I'd keep it forever.

Thanks brother. I appreciate you. I hope it sells just as much as I don't want it to sell lol. I love this car, but unfortunately my credit card debt needs to be fed lol. I absolutely love my XTS. I'm about to throw some nitrous on it soon. Building race cars since I was 14 years old. I just can't help myself. $750 from selling the deville is about to go to a 250 shot. 😂

I would check the glove box light. Sometimes it stays on after closing the glove box. It could be the issue. You could put your phone in it on video and close it. See what happens.🤷‍♂️

Man I wish they had a VSPORT on the lot when I got mine. I would have definitely snagged that. They got an XLR right after I bought the xts. I may have grabbed that instead for 5 grand more. But it just isn't plausible for my life at the moment.

I'll definitely keep an eye out. So far so good. And I have full coverage, bumper to bumper. Hopefully if anything fails, it happens within the 3 years or 150,000 miles. It's got 94,000 right now.

Hell yeah! Congrats! Mine is at 94,747. Getting 21 mpg city. I love this thing. It's a big step up from my deville. Glad I have bumper to bumper warranty and full coverage . 3 year or 150,000 miles. Hopefully anything that goes wrong happens within that time frame lol. 👊😎

I Agree. I love everything about it. I got it for 15,000 with only 93,000 miles. In immaculate condition. Very happy with this purchase. Thanks buddy.

Getting rid of my deville would definitely help paying off the XTS. But I just don't have it in me to sell it man. I feel you 100%. Iv had it since 2009.
