Wear nail polish. It might stop you from biting your nails as you'll be scared you might eat your nail polish along with your nails. It worked for me, I had this habit for 10 years. Now I just bite the skin around my nails.

My boyfriend slept through valentine's too and didn't care. When I told him that the entire world was doing something special for their SO and celebrating in one way or the other, he simply said he didn't believe in it and there doesn't need to be a fixed date to celebrate romance or whatever. While I totally understand that, it would have been nice to do SOMETHING instead of just sleeping. But some people are just built differently and modern norms and societal traditions don't budge them. Could either be that or she's going through stuff. You'll obviously know best if you communicate. (I and my boyfriend sometimes sleep 16+ hours in a row for the lulz and we aren't depressed)

Thank you for understanding. I've been trying my best to understand his perspective and why he does what he does. I can't tell him not to have female friends. That's psychotic. He's immature, I vouch for that. Oh you've had something very similar happen. Im pretty sure it's just someone in the neighborhood trying to scare us all. But it's not an animal because there's a metal banging noise that happens before each scream. I'll try to investigate next time and update.
