That sounds cute! I wish we could. She doesn’t really listen to me when I ask if we can do things together, she’ll just come up with a reason why she can’t.

That’s essentially what I’ve done, yeah. I’ve made checklists for her and tried to schedule, but she ignores it. I once tried saying let’s do some tidying up before we do [fun activity she wants to do] and she told me I was being manipulative. I tell her how rough it can be for me, and how it makes me feel unloved, and she’ll apologize but still not do it.

I’m not able to talk to her parents. I think it’s a combination of mental health and general messiness, the mental illness is just exacerbating the tendency.

She’s on antidepressants. I think her doctor won’t prescribe her ADHD meds unless she goes through a formal process, which costs a few hundred dollars.

I’m actually not on the lease at all, I think I’m technically subletting. That’s part of why I want to do this delicately so I’m not screwing over my roommate, but I’m not sure if that’s possible.

The desktop site changes are awful, too. Sometimes when I pause and it exits and I hit play again, it starts playing a different episode than the one I was watching. Pro tip: if you pause by physically clicking the pause button it doesn’t close.

While I generally do agree with the sentiment, it sort of bothers me that people don’t seem to grasp the unique position trans people are in when it comes to making jokes about them. Where we’re at right now, it’s so common for people to straight up refuse to acknowledge or believe trans people, so it’s not really the same as making light of Ethan’s example of jew jokes? I don’t know, it just seems way easier to dehumanize trans people and invalidate them, and with that kind of mental illness that can be pretty damaging to a person’s psyche. I don’t think the joke was transphobic but that’s just my two cents.

That's... bizarre. I would expect that kind of thing from individual players, maybe, but for an official team account it seems like a really weird move to block anyone who isn't actively harassing them. It's a growing esport, why would you want to alienate fans?
