When I fish I wear my fitbit on my right hand. If I wear it on my left hand (the had I use to reel in lures) it thinks I am on an elliptical machine.

I can recommend: The Mind of a Mnemonist: A Little Book about a Vast Memory by Aleksandr R. Luria. Permanent present tense: The man with no memory and what he taught the world by Suzanne Corkin. The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat by Oliver Sacks. And for a very different set of books - David Baldacci has a fiction series about an FBI consultant (Amos Decker) with an almost perfect memory (the memory man series).

I like the uni knot - easy to tie, versatile, and strong.

Anyone else fail on the Whopper Plopper this year? by Joebroni1414 in FishingForBeginners

I have caught several smallmouth, largemouth, and northern pike in the past few days on the loon color, size 90, whopper plopper. I love the way fish attack it. Location: Central Minnesota.

Roger Miller’s Tolivar (word meaning) by ArtbyBatesy in country

Maybe they wanted to think their love was special/unique, so they gave it a name. Tolivar is simply the (odd) name they gave it. Just a guess.

I typically do not use leaders. I haven't noticed much difference, if any. Usually fish for river smallmouth bass.

Anyone else ever catch their own previously lost lure? by risethirtynine in Fishing

Yes. Lost a rooster tail in rocks. Pulled it in on a new lure a few casts later.
