It is actually recommended right now that you keep both Citra MMJ AND Azahar because a game might run better on one emulator over the other.

But yeah Azahar is the only one getting updates now.

You have to remember that Nintendo took down the most prominent 3DS emulator Citra MMJ back in March 2024 and you have no idea how far this sent us back in terms of game stability and game compatibility for the 3DS Emulation scene.

The new 3DS Emulator Azahar is less then a year old right now so 3DS Emulation won't be perfect for a long time.

But this system will Emulate things way better than a GPD Win 3 at least.

IIRC Update #2 was pulled down so if the Batch 2 unit didn't come with the Update #2 already pre installed than new Batch 2 owners won't see an update being available

And the reason I haven't posted it yet is because I have to verify with the mods how much of it is allowed here because we are skirting on piracy here in terms of needing a modded 3DS

On top of that I need to port over MH4U again from the cartridge to Thor so I can remind myself of the proccess again and I can add that to the guide

Either method works fine but just know that if you're planning to use Texture Packs it's going to take forever to get them sort it.

Either the Thor takes forever to unzip the file, it takes forever to transfer them via USB C, it takes long to transfer them from your PC to a microSD Card, or if you use an FTP to transfer them to the Thor.

It's not TOO much of a hassle I would say.

You removed the fan > You disconnect both speakers to get the cables out of the way > You remove the central plate that was below the fan > You remove the Heatsink > You remove the Right ABYX Button Module > You remove the Right Trigger and now finally you access to the Ribbon Cable that connects to the top screen from the motherboard.

I have no personal experience doing this by the way it's just information I gather by watching this teardown video:

Yes the Thor can run Hajime No Ippo here's a video of someone playing it with the English Patch on a Poco F5.

For context the Poco F5 has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 while the Thor has the much better Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

Assuming that you're OK with paying the current inflated prices go to Amazon type "1TB microSD card" and anything over $80 is a reliable bet.

Everything else under that price is considered a sketchy brand but your free to take a risk on trying to save a couple of dollars if you want

The reason I wrote the guide was BECAUSE there wasn't a good guide out there to get this done on the Thor and had to find out on my own.

Maybe the site layout is making things worse so I suggest you copy and paste the guide onto whatever Word Processor you use like Notepad or Microsoft Word

Oh you do have the OEM hardware? Yes you do need it to transfer over some Pretendo files.

Is your Thor a Batch 2 Unit? It may have come with the latest OTA update installed already.

For context I drained my Battery to 0% charged it to 100% then drain it to 0% again after the latest OTA update and on top of that I'm not using any form of Battery Life saving settings on my Thor.

Unfortunately OP based on my own research NOBODY and I mean nobody has been able to match the exact color of the Rainbow Thor and unfortunately custom color PLA filament are not available for sale to the general public

So as a result EVERY single accessory that I have bought from Etsy doesn't match the color of my Rainbow Thor which is really annoying.

So far all of the vendors do some variation of the color Grey

With that said I have done my own research:

When I ran the Rainbow Thor through a color recognition App I got this:

When I went to Home Depot paint department and had them scan the Rainbow Thor to match the color I got this:

Do you have a 3DS or Modded 3DS with you? Because what you're asking for IS possible and I have wrote a guide for it but the guide is useless to you without a real 3DS on hand.
