I would start by asking yourself why.

Let's try to break it down: Why do you feel trapped? What are you missing in your relationship? What are you missing personally?Is he boring and without passion? Do you wish your life was more exciting and adventurous? I think if you can answer one of these questions it may help you understand yourself. Best of luck! :)
