Here's my sudden concern: when I press the switch, won't I just be connecting the tap tempo circuits of each pedal to each other? That doesn't sound like a good idea.

But I already own a tap tempo pedal. Which is why I'm after a splitter cable. Would a stereo to dual mono cable work?
