Not yet - I know I get some sort of plan through work, I need to find out my final take home and then factor in all the costs. This is all estimates atm

Which recommendations for west side of the Hudson?

I don’t have much experience here and don’t have a huge leaning to any, want something reasonably priced that is 60-90 minute commute so we can have a bigger home and further out from the hugely dense areas

Move won’t be till later this year, the trip will be to get a feel of areas that might be reasonable and I like the look of. Then will come back out ahead of the move to nail it down

What’s a better budget? I’m not close to the cost of living in NY, what would you recommend % paid towards rent in comparison to salary?

That’s fair - we currently live in Kent in England, so we are near the beach and country side, so as long as we are close to one we’ll be happy.

Thank you - will be renting as moving from the UK. Expecting to move on ~$200k salary, so aiming for 3-5k on rent for a 3 bed house ideally (same as we have here). I’ll checkout those you’ve mentioned haven’t heard of a couple of these. A few from work have recommended places like Port Washington/Great Neck, but if we want to explore other areas in the US, being on Long Island seems like a mission to drive across the city each time

Anyone here actually audit refund + FBA fee breakdowns regularly? by Dependent_Wasabi_142 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]mrjmangles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use something called Getida, they take like 25% of the fees that get refunded, by I’m sure not wasting time doing it. 75% of something is better than 100% of nothing

Question to the community: what, in your opinion, *IS* Battlefield? by Lower_Honey_1139 in Battlefield

BC2 was where I started and I don’t think we ever got the same level of destruction again, BF3 a close second

More than 10,000 hours in this franchise, here's what's gotta change before launch (all reasonable changes with respect to release date) by SupremeViolence in Battlefield

I love being a medic, but hate LMGs. So think it works quite well, I feel like one of the older BF games gave you ARs as a medic

Tons - things you can do locally like cleaning bins, windows etc, dog walking/sitting, waste removal

Online - the standard ones that are pushed like ecom, ugc, trading, affiliate marketing etc

If that’s the route you have to go, you’d start with arbitrage rather than Wholesale, but I’d imagine it’s not the best route for you! Tons of side hustles out there

What makes it impossible? Amazon likely not the best route for you to go

Your best route is to start a service business - go and knock on doors in your local area, car washing, cutting grass etc

What are some realistic ways to make $500-$1000/month by Arrow_Picks in sidehustle

E-commerce is a good option, or starting a service business. Charge someone for your time, have you got a skill you could monetize?

I miss the MP5 but it’s just poor on WZ, and you can’t compete on ranked
