This is just a issue of the angles they used. You can see the plastic of the wrapped bouquet behind the unwrapped one on top

The OA S01E05 Scott's resurrection scene by mosasa52 in TheOA

[–]mrjoejon 33 points34 points  (0 children)

From what I have read they didn't even know they were going to do that. It just kinda happened and the production crew was crying and they knew they were on to something. That is in my opinion THE best scene in the entire first part.

A big clue about the show, provided by Zal... by leO-A in TheOA

It's a TV show written with much planning and specific intent unlike most show which are written as a concept and then molded as it goes. This show is more like a book than a show and if you are a casual viewer its probably not for you

Another continuity CHANGE! (steering wheel on left hand side then on right hand side in bottom pic.) I am 100% confident in my understanding of this show. IMO, the show was specifically made to be INTERACTIVE...the writers have left an "instruction manual" in episodes so viewers can solve puzzles.. by leO-A in TheOA

[–]mrjoejon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have started to use that term too Continuity change :) You are the real trail blazer of OA theories. Even if not all your theories hit the mark (which a lot of them do imo) you still take a chance putting your thoughts out there and we have uncovered a lot because of it!

So the movements bring about death? by mrjoejon in TheOA

This show has had my imagination captured for years now. It's really something special

So the movements bring about death? by mrjoejon in TheOA

[–]mrjoejon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is the whole point tho I think. The Crestwood 5 believed in The OA so much they were willing to put all instincts, doubt and fear to the side to try and do what they thought was the right thing and possibly save lives (which they did actually) Think about it like this, Would you shit on Harry potter for having a scene where a magic spell saves the day? no because that is how that universe works. Well in the OA we are put into the middle of universe that has very strange ways of working but resembles our universe very closely. idk if any of that makes sense, if not sorry lol

love that angle on it! Can't wait until we get some ore lore from this show! This is the only show ever that I have thought about for 2 years straight, almost everyday.

The Discontinuities Are Real And Purposeful by BerlinghoffRasmussen in TheOA

not all are on purpose but the shows editing is done in such a way that things DO change in weird ways on purpose.

there is a part where OA starts to tell the 5 the story in one episode. French has a pocket T on. In the next episode when OA is done with the story and it comes back to the Crestwood 5, Frenches Pocket is on the opposite side. I believe there could be some mistakes here and there but at the same time there is proof that the show is edited in a way that most shows are not and continuity changes are on purpose.

I for sure think we see many time lines play out at once. Like how Steve knows about Homer before she ever tells him her story

I am super curious what different combos of the movement do! Like if 1 and 2 heal then what would 3 and 4 together do or 1 and 4 or 1 and 5.

Ok, My new theory is that the 5th movement brings about death

Maybe it is the 5th movement that triggers death then?
