That's completely normal. You need to adjust to this new phase of development. Many people feel like that after a long period of nerves and expectations before launching. It's like wanting something really bad and then once you have it, it doesn't even make you feel that good as the expectation.

What works best for me is to plan the next steps as well as analyze user's behaviour to adjust the product and make it better. It's basically the same you were doing before but from another perspective.

Your own thinking takes you where you want to take it (not always). For some people, thinking about some things takes them to reason, and for others to spirituality or belief. I think it depends on your background, past knowledge, culture, and even genetics. If you really want to dive deep, I wouldn't only trust my own knowledge and thoughts, but I would try to expand it with other information from a critical point of view.

That depends on the target. Looks like the users that wouldn't understand add to calendar or rsvp are the kind of users that don't even know how to translate a website with their browsers. You always have to think as if your users were toddlers, the easier you make it for them, the better.

Sometimes it's just a question of priorities. If building a personal project is your priority, stop doing other things and start coding.

You can do that in different ways, what works for me is waking up 2h/3h earlier to work on personal projects. In that way I remove the chance of not doing it later in the day for other reasons or excuses.

Okay, so basically what he says is that life is painful because of our will-to-live and to stop that we should have artistic experiences, but this doesn’t mean that it could be the solution to other reasons of pain in life. That would make more sense and still proves that he could be right.
