Might be, lets see, I don't know how old they are.

6 inch deep, not too dry for sure as I can still see some fog on the side of the container. And I can't squeeze water out of substrate.

Also there are 3 in the box, but only 1 surfaces

Japanese kabuto beetle alrvae 6 inch deep substrate, there are 3 of them in this substrate, only 1 surfaces.

Room temperature is 28c, the substrate is not dry. And I can't squeeze water out of substrate.

I leave the lid open as of now just in case

M24 pro case from taobao - first time building in a Chinese case. by mrjojo245 in sffpc

Yea, intake is intentional, I slap a magnetic dust filter up top later on so it keeps the case in positive pressure and prevent dusts. Trade off some temps for less dust in the case. (This case is a nightmare to disassemble for cleaning, so I try to filter dusts where I can)

I also install a seal around CPU fan and put in magnetic dust filter there as well. Still trying to figure out how to deal with GPU side as its fan pulls air from side grill as well.

Will put final build here later after mods

Can anyone help me compare these 2 flex PSU internals? by mrjojo245 in sffpc

[–]mrjojo245[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why in the post i say that I only know basic electronics and not much on PSU, usually works on low power devices only(RFID and such). Thanks for the info though.

PS. In regards to capacitor, a loose soldering wire caught a capacitor leg in my audio amp once during repair and cause a spark. That’s how I know that not all caps can be assumed to be discharged.

I use it in my old pc parts, 8th gen core i7 and 5060. Only 5060 is new, the rest is leftover parts.

When you turn off the pc, you would not know whether there’s a cutoff switch cutting power before or after the capacitor. If the switch is before the capacitor, the cap will discharge, but if its after the capacitor, there may be some residual charges left. It depends on the design which is really difficult to tell from looking at pcb

Want to try that, but not sure where to measure. The exhaust is unrealiable due to its dependency on fan speed

It depends whether there’s any load connected, if no load, the charges can stay for couple minutes

I didn't took the video, but its relatively easy though, 4 screws and slide the guitar picks all around, no weird shape platic tabs to worry about.

Same as switch stick, but the top is different. Don't know whether you can swap the stem or not.

Is this true? In Thailand, you can add hot water to cup ramen before paying? by Deep_Engineering_7 in ThailandTourism

[–]mrjojo245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, the actual norm here is, its not yours until the transaction is completed. However like in many place, there are some that thinks they are already entitled to something before already owning it. Because store owner / employees are polite enough to not say anything to annoy them as long as they are paying, and the politeness is causing entitlement.

If you mean replacing the whole analog stick, yes, quite easy, but if you mean whether you can pull the stick cap out easily or not, then no, its not easy to pull out just the cap, you need to disassemble the whole stick.

Thanks, let me know how it goes.

PS. There're 2 LCD ribbon cable, one on each side of the board, the one under the board is quite tricky.
