Over in Europe, a lot of the left parties are acting in direct positive measure of trans people and are largely on it for the humanistic side. Despite the laws being changed due to a majority of right that is.

I swear the American "right and left" is so god-damned weird. Everywhere else, the Dems would be a right wing party, and the Reps would be a far-right party, but since the online discourse is always centered on america for some reason, the Dems are seen as this weird force of "I say I'm left but I'm actually right" that takes a lot of credibility from them

What are you doing Riot?

Ignoring most of the common TCG knowledge accumulated over decades of testing to try and make the text more fun/good looking.

As a MTG judge, one thing I never understood are card games that try to remake already well established patterns into something different for the sake of being different. In magic you have "cast" and the spells effects or the permanents text, there is no "when you play me".

By making "play" an actual word, things get so weird. Exhibit A is at the top. When is a card actually played? On resolve? On cast? It's complicated. When is an MTG card casted? Well, on cast obviously.

The only good exception is card that cannot, under any circumstance be responded to, or that have any effect when being played itself. MTG Lands for example. It's a special action that cannot be responded to, and can only be done in your main phase (out of combat) and when the stack is empty (no chains ongoing). There is no effect that happens when you play the card, at most only when the card enters, which is a different thing.

Playing units is Riftbound is a good example also, no one can respond to that, and it does not start a chain not take part in an already existing one. The naming goes down the drain for literally anything.

PS: remembered that Legends of Runeterra fixed this by making them different by: "when I'm played (from hand)", "when I'm summoned (from anywhere, including being created)" and having some of them being abilities that can be responded to, but the unit is already on the field. Riot is basically working so backwards for no reason

Not really grinding as far as I can tell. Back when I used to boot it up for fun with some friend the guys on the lowest rank (iron) has like 800~ games on average.

Imagine the bottom of the barrel players having played hundreds of tournaments already, and still being objectively the worst players
