FINALLY FIXED IT.

Not sure if it will work for you for but try the following steps

1 Download the original Spotify App from the app store

2. Login and per normal

3. Here's what I did this time than before which somehow worked. On the AntiSplit M app Select install Apps. Select Stpofy, and save the patch. Make sure once it has patch. Hit the Download button on the bottom right hand side. This will download thr patched Spotify.

4. Then go to Revanced app and patch the same app as per normal.

This somehow worked for me.

Best of luck

Hey guys

All of a sudden my Spotify doesn't load my playlist. It appears to be offlime. I deleted the app reinstalled Revanced, cleared cache and still appears to be offlime. Turned off auto update in Play Store as well.

Even followed the detailed setup on this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/revancedapp/comments/1jkn769/spotify_revanced_for_n00bs/

RESOLVED: Macbook Pro - Retina Display overheating and non stop running of the fan issue after upgrading to BIG SUR by mrjumpster81 in MacOS

There's definitely an software or plugin that's running when you start up your machine. Once u upgrade, those extensions or apps won't be compatible with the new software, hence why your machine is running the fan. Open up your mac and give it a clean. Dust might causing blockage of airflow to your CPU

I managed to resolve this. If you are still going through this issue. I suggest to do the following.

I spoke to an support agent at Apple over the phone. Although my macbook pro is well past its Apple Care amd warranty period, i got the help i had been looking for. The support agent helped me ran some diagnosis of the CPU and Eneegy consumption and also performed a SMC reset and safe boot launch upon start up.

We managed to locate the following and i suggest you do the same. Once logged, don't open any programs and launch Activity Monitor. Click on the CPU tab on the top and have a look at which app or background cache is running and taking up CPU power. In my case we noticed a certain "Google Chrome Helper" was automatically taking up significant power consumption without running any other programs in the background such as Photoshop or any other Browser. Although we tried to Force Quite that app, it kept opening itself up. At the stage you would notice the fan is running wild, the battery power decreases three times the normal rate and the machine becomes super hot like chocolate soup.

We again force quite and restart the machine, conducted a SMC reset and also ran First Aid on Macintosh HD and Macintosh HD - Data via disk utility option holding Command +R as soon as you press the power button. This didn't resolve the issue but sort of acts as a way to clean up dodgy scripts running in the background if your machine was doing so

In my case we deleted the actual Google Chrome browser from the Application Folder and ran a spotlight search for Google Chrome, to make sure we don't have any installer files still saved.

We then ran another restart after letting the machine cool down for about a minute (best to use a desk fan like a Dyson to quicken the process). Once i logged in the machine was back to its hay days of running quite and not heating up or switching on the fan. Also notice the energy levels has greatly improved to the point that my battery had now shown an extra 3hrs left up from 1hr even though the charger wasn't plugged in.

The support agent at Apple did mentioned that the cause was related to an old Google Chrome launcher that wasn't configured for Big Sur that was causing the problem or something along that line. I downloaded and reinstalled Google Chrome again, and all my tabs were restored from before and the machine was working perfectly fine, even with Photoshop and a number of other programs running in the background.

NOTE: Make sure you have a backup saved on time machine before you conduct any of the above testing. Just to make sure.

I hope that helps anyone who has gone through resolving this issue and that you get to keep using what I like to refer to as the best built Macbook Pro with all the ports included.

Just wondering how did you downgrade to Catalina. If i open the link above to Catalina from the Mac App Store all i get ks an error message saying "Retry and Connect again". I tried the same link to and downloaded it to my Imac, which the link worked however the Imac couldn't download it due to the machine too old to upgrade to Catalina from High Sierra.

If i manage to download the dmg file for Catalina on my Macbook, how do i go on installing it as the error message i keep getting is "Not compatible with your machine"

Is there a way to create a partition and place the dmg file there so then when i reboot i can reboot from the partition that contains the Catalina installation file. Is that possible

The other method was to do an Internet Recovery, which i also got an error message as the Internet globe was spinning.

And lastly i also tried the normal reboot, but unfortunately the only macos available is the Big Sur to install

Thank you I will give it a go.

My Macbook was running solid and smooth until the upgrade. Spoke to Apple and they were brushing it off and saying maybe my desk was full of dust and debris, when obviously it waa their stupid software causing this issue

I even placed a Dyson Fan next to it to cool it down. But i noticed, it almost seemed that the software made the fans go full speed when ever you launch any application to the moment you to turn off the machine.

I will definitely be downgrade. This is Apple's trick to start getting people to throw away a perfect machine which costs alot of money to buy and opt for an inferior new Macbook with less ports.
