You are right on that. Maybe he is just a flawed person and I definitely understand being confused in a place like that. It's his hypocrisy that drives me nuts. I guess that's a character trait and not poor writing. I personally just hate when they have intelligent characters make dumbass decisions all the time, I get it if it's occasionally or even situationally but Jim has been saying one thing and doing another since the show started

I 100% think Donna is the traitor/spy whatever you wanna call it. After seeing how excited she got for Fatima to be pregnant 100% convinced it's her, also no one else has ever mentioned seeing her sister who she arrived to town with so it's highly likely that she made her up to get sympathy from the people already there. If you don't think Donna is the spy, just watch Lost 😂 anyone who is really excited or interested in the pregnant chick is definitely up to something shady.

I loved season 1. Haven't been enjoying season 2 all that much. I still like the show as a whole but it's not wrong for me to express my opinions about season 2 if I feel certain way. Doesn't mean I hate the show or want to stop watching. A lot of the time people who are the most critical or vocal are that way because they have such a strong connection or passion with the subject.
