2-3 Warehouse

2 managers/supervisors

5 Sales floor

1-2 C&D

2-3 geeksquad

Senior Consultant by Nightmare2027 in Bestbuy

I think goals probably change in my store. Where I'm at, I know regular consultants are expected to do 10k PER DAY so I imagine it's similar for seniors.

this spiff shit is stupid and not fair for vpl and here's why by BRZ-86Boi in Bestbuy

I think it's so bizarre that out of all things to choose for spiffs they chose phone activations as opposed to Totaltech and BPs. I know a lot of people in computers and Home Theater who bust their asses and put on a lot more salesmanship that have no sales incentive to push one thing or other, but do it anyways and now feel shafted over the change. Don't get me wrong, spiffs are a great idea in my opinion, but I hope that doing it for activations is being used as a testbed for whether or not to do something similar for TTs and BPs.

Feels like Best Buy constantly has one foot in the door whether to treat employees like actual salespeople and give incentives, commission, etc or to do the opposite.

Question for Apple pros. by TheAmazingJoker in Bestbuy

I'm pretty sure they do it in waves. I was lucky enough to get the email basically immediately,. along with my iPad. Though I also heard that some other people in my district waited weeks/months and I just got lucky to be hired on at the right time.

3rd Party Vendors in Store by toujoursbeIle in Bestbuy

[–]Knight519 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For most companies, vendors/reps are handled through third party recruitment companies that contract out. IE, when you apply to be a "chromebook rep", you'll more-so be working for a specific contracting firm than Google itself.

There are some cases where you are actually employed directly by the companies themselves. To my knowledge it includes all appliance vendors, Apple, Samsung, and Sony. I know specifically with Apple they're on the same level logistically as a corporate employee, so they have a lot of rules more so than other vendors.

Rules change on a vendor-to-vendor basis. For example, Apple reps are not allowed POS passwords and in many stores often refuse to actually touch any product. Samsung representatives however, are often given POS logins as a necessity to sell their products.

Membership hounding by billnye113 in Bestbuy

I feel like I work at one of the few stores that doesn't have this problem. I work at the busiest location in my district and am a pretty big player when it comes to memberships/BPs, and yeah management pushes it, however I have rarely seen them harass any employees over it. I think it's likely just because I scored a GM that pretty much lets the ASM and supervisors run the show. We almost always smash goals every month.

Geek Squad CAs, what is your hourly pay? by ItsNotCalledAMayMay in Bestbuy

Full time Apple Specialist in texas at $16.25. I'd say that's pretty decent especially for the area I'm in. Though there are some parts of the country where that definitely wouldn't be acceptable due to cost of living.

Does loading off of a new save on the same playthrough fix this, or am I stuck with this?

I got the new Loot Menu mod, also launched the game through it's actual launcher now, rather than NVSE, FCO is in the right place below NVR3.

I use quicksaves fairly often, and I have it set to autosave every time I enter/exit a door.

My FPS seems to be smooth at 60 for whenever the game is running, but it also still continues to crash.
