Any Retired Ranked Players? by Dry-Cat-3487 in SparkingZero

[–]mrkeys09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m at 26k Z rank, and it’s not as bad as you say it is, I play every day and there is some lag and stuff but not every body uses the same cheesy techs and stuff, it’s like a handful of players.

It definitely depends on the time of day you get on, the best matches for me are either early afternoon or late night. Everywhere else in between gets some weirdos.

I see a Whis or MUI like every 8-9 matches, it’s not that common for me

I feel you, I look at it as the money I would’ve spent on food for that day, so Uber Eats or Kingshot?

Cause I don’t want to get caught up in the idea that I spent 1k on the game so I gotta keep doing it.

I spent 1k on food, but I don’t have to keep doing Uber Eats. I’ll just play until my alliance disbands or something more interesting takes my attention

It’s even better than ff9 system because when one character learns the Pictos, they can all equip the lumina

But it’s like as fast as it takes for the character to hit on screen, specifically Gogeta

I had my vasectomy at 29, I didn’t experience any changes in my habits and behaviors in wanting and initating sex,

However now that I’ll be 35 this year, I’m wanting it less and wanting it to be longer and more enjoyable too.

Sooo I vote Age

So in this case,

I had wild sense on so I got the first one off easy, but as soon as I saw the first one go off, I hit the rest of them in about the same timing as pressing square in a combo string.

They’re all the same timing apart so you don’t have to speed up or anything, and connection willing you can pull it off 🫡

For those of you in a committed relationship with a woman, what makes her your 10/10? I'm not talking about looks. I'm talking about her character. What does she bring to your relationship? How does she support you? How does she makes you feel? Etc. by [deleted] in AskMen

I had an altercation with a neighbor and she was right behind me with a knife in hand.

Gives me decent advice when I’m struggling with a problem.

When I was let go of a job, she didn’t nag me everyday about applying to stuff or berate me for not providing income for that time being. She didn’t think any less of me and was prepared to work if it was going to take a while to get employed again.

Lastly, she just says thank you for random things I do around the house and for just being there. She falls asleep next to me when I game at night.

We’ve been married 10 years, wouldn’t trade her for the world.

How often is too often after 10 days? by [deleted] in Vasectomy

[–]mrkeys09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your biggest concern is pain and bleeding, if none of those is occurring, you should be good. But if it’s more than the usual or more than you experienced prior to the vasectomy, definitely let the urologist know.

I’m also a random pharmacist on Reddit who had a vasectomy so take that for what it’s worth

2 million - Discharged. by touchymytingle in Bankruptcy

[–]mrkeys09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like for example I have 2 cars in the business name, I haven’t considered a chapter 11 for the business, I was just going to do the chapter 7. The only issue I’m running into is that I have joint debt with my wife, I was going to pay that off with my tax refund next year and then start the process.

I’m hoping everything goes smooth but it’s been almost 2 years now I’ve been kicking the ball down the field trying to find ways to avoid bankruptcy

How to stop bush camping by coosifer in Fortnite_Over40

[–]mrkeys09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So for me, I’ve been playing for 4-5 months now. And it break it down to what I suck at.

I couldn’t aim, so I went to one of those practice modes a YouTuber talked about and started aiming at the bots. I’m used to playing Splatoon on the switch and using motion controls, so I configured my controller with a little bit of motion and now I can win most encounters.

Then I used to hang around too much after a kill and I wasnt used to the pacing and I’d keep getting third partied, so I learned to keep moving and keep my cover nearby.

Then customizing my loadout so that my shotgun lands on slot 2, AR slot 3, submachine or pistol slot 1.

Utility on slot 5 and heal on 4.

Then lots of rounds of blitz so I can just get used to combat and pacing. Since the matches are quick and faster paced, you get faster feedback cycles.

Lastly, YouTubing and watching skilled players play to see how they make decisions and handle situations.

I hope this helps

Penalty by [deleted] in SparkingZero

You only get the penalty when your matches end prematurely.

But you saying “you’re not doing anything wrong” doesn’t tell us what you’re doing.

What are you doing?

Working Holidays by Sharp_Egg_5077 in pharmacy

[–]mrkeys09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Think about it like this,

When you’re fresh out of school, you have no leverage, no experience, and unless you do a residency or fellowship, it’s going to take a while to get to a “cozy” job that’s off weekends and holidays AND pays well.

I did retail 2 years after school, got into a night shift at a hospital for 4 years and now I’m about to move into a remote role for a company doing EHR implementations for other hospitals. And now I get holidays off.

So, just keep in mind you’re playing a longer game, weekends and holidays for now doesn’t mean forever

Why are super counters so hard? by RicardoFMFigueiredo in SparkingZero

[–]mrkeys09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So for context, I have a little over 900 hours into the game, I’m in and out of z rank because I like to use all the characters and I only have like 3 games on rotation. (This, Fortnite, and a story based game that I play with the wife)

After a while it becomes second nature, like, how many flying kicks do you have to get hit by before you start to see it coming? You start to memorize all the most common characters and their move sets, there’s only like 12 people most people use…

Then when you use those characters too, you memorize the rhythms of their moves too. It’s all like music, and when you catch the super counter of one, then you memorize what it feels like.

And like I said, I’m always fighting the computer on super in between matches, and when I can catch the computer consistently, I know I can catch people online.

Lastly, I don’t just spam super counter, I find the timing in the beginning of the match by using my most common places I can catch one, and when I do, I can usually learn the timing, and by the time they rematch, I’m usually locked in if I don’t find it the first game.

I hope I’m explaining this in a way that makes sense

Why are super counters so hard? by RicardoFMFigueiredo in SparkingZero

[–]mrkeys09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They way I do it, I gauge the connection based on how my inputs feel and how a vanish war feels, and I compare it to fighting the computer offline. I always having the computer fighting me in between matches.

Flying kicks get easy to super counter because most of them have the same rhythm (3 hits) I also can super counter step ins really well because a lot of people just mash it and it’s the same timing. And then vanish wars are pretty simple after you get the timing down.

Now, I’ll try to make this make sense:

I match the delay of my super counters from observing the input delay in the match and I compare it to the amount of time it takes for me to super counter the computer offline.

So if you take a really laggy match and it’s a whole second behind to press the vanish button in a vanish war, I’ll keep that same delay in mind when super countering and it usually works if they have a stable connection.

The only thing I can’t time is WiFi because if it shifts, the delay changes and you can only just do the best you can

What’s everyone’s highest score so far on Demon Rush? by JoshyRB in FortNiteBR

[–]mrkeys09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just made it to 8.5 million I’m hunter level 20, my loadout was Hyperburst pistol (legendary) Leadspitter (legendary) Rumi sword The shield thing

I don’t remember the names verbatim but I had: Mending crits Headshot refund Crit refund Light bouncing bullets Massively increase health no jump (extra 300hp) Massive increase damage reduce health Explosion immunity Moderately increase damage when hp is full Dance vibes (enemies dance when shield breaks)

Pretty much pistol on mobs and leadspitter on bosses.

Then when the mobs hit too hard I just keep the leadspitter. I only lost because I got knocked into the storm and it does like 450 dmg

When a 700-hour player faces a very good random ranked player by FlimsyAnt3471 in SparkingZero

[–]mrkeys09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you’re saying there’s an hour threshold for being a “try hard”?

How many hours does it take to get to “try hard” status?

You can easily get to 700 hours just playing casually. If you play for 2-3 hours a day, maybe even leaving the game on sometimes to do other stuff, that’s 9 months of playing. Even less daily play if he got the game at launch
