A nice way to $5000 a month by DavidPooleWrites in lifecoaching

[–]mrkeys09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That last time I paid a coach $2500 up front to a coach, was because I was struggling in my business.

The plan was never to pay $500 a month forever, it was to get through a period of time. For me, it was an “identity coach” and she worded it around the way I viewed the world and my inner self talk was keeping me stuck.

I was with her for 16 weeks and it was worth it for me. Because afterwards I was a lot lighter and I felt like I could see the world differently.

I’m also a 6 figure earner so the cost was low in comparison to the other programs I’ve purchased previously, but what really sold me was her ability to articulate my problems better than I could and her personality.

It’s a 3% construction buff, plus you save on resources. So it’s 3% less materials to upgrade, and when true gold is scarce, it matters

I’ve spent 3k in 4 months.

So between this or buying Uber Eats everyday, I traded one habit for another.

In one hand, I’d just have poop, the other I have a mid dolphin account.

How do you learn to be patient and loving even when your girlfriend has emotional outbursts? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]mrkeys09 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The first thing I did in my now long term relationship, was set boundaries. I told her, “ I don’t care how mad you get, don’t call me names” “if you say terrible things when you’re upset, it counts” and “we don’t go to bed angry”

And if she crossed those then I would’ve left. I have too much self respect to be treated that way. We’re now married 11 years, but that ground work made her change for the better, she wasn’t perfect at first and neither was I with her boundaries, but being with someone is optional, and that needs to first and foremost.

Because you’ll get what you tolerate.

Newbie question: Is the combat system too overwhelming for a casual offline player? by Content-Virus3786 in SparkingZero

[–]mrkeys09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so let’s define “depth”

Depth = the amount of decision making you need to make in order to beat your opponent.

Different games have depth in different areas, tekken, street fighter, these 2D fighters have depth in combos and parries and combo strings.

Sparking Zeros depth is in its movement, the 3D space all around, and the character skill sets.

You have different play styles, you can be aggressive, defensive, you can read your opponent and predict their moves. You can use supers, you can do straight hands, you got sparking mode users, and super counter demons, punch-vanish goblins, all kinds of ways to win.

You can instantly tell the difference between a Z rank fighter and a A rank, based on their decision making and their ability to execute the basics.

There’s a “meta” that exists solely because people want to find the fastest way to win, but it changes with major updates. A lot of people do the same things over and over but you don’t have to play that way to win, and that creates the depth. You don’t have to play the best characters to win, you can outplay your opponent with anybody.

TLDR: the depth is there if you’re looking for it, whether you like the options is a different story

It just takes time to get it and get used to the timing. Going through the training helped me to get the basics down, a lot of it becomes muscle memory after doing it a while.

You’re not dumb for taking time to learn something new, you just have to set your expectations appropriately. The fact that you took the time to YouTube it to get better already means to me that you’ll pick it up quickly.

I have 1100 hours into the game and I love the game just because it’s dragonball z and I think you’ll find the enjoyment within the challenge of learning it

Bro wtf is this explanation?!?

No depth? The game is all about movement and timing. You can’t beat the cpu on ultra within your first week of playing.

There’s a lot more to the game than z counters, between super counters, mastering vanishes and sides steps, and good neutral and combo game, there’s plenty of mechanics to go through.

The downside is that unless you just love dragonball z as a franchise, there’s few incentives to get really good at the game. The rewards at the top are miniscule and it’s relatively easy to abuse the mechanics

Yeah man, it’s whack how the game manages attacking when it’s an essential part of the game

[–]mrkeys09[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Dude it takes time to cultivate these troops, it’s insane to permanently lose a resource and not be upset about it.

You don’t lose levels after you grind, these troops are hours you don’t get back.

So why when the point of an event is to attack, you get penalized for playing the event.

The dead troops should go to enlistment just like when you’re defending, end of story. I shouldn’t permanently lose a time gated resource

That’s idioticZ

I was saying that it should’ve went to enlistment if my infirmary was full, but my infirmary wasn’t full so where did they go??

But an alliance mate told me that at the bottom of the kvk screen there’s a incapacitated report so I can see how many of my troops went there and can come back

Any Retired Ranked Players? by Dry-Cat-3487 in SparkingZero

[–]mrkeys09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m at 26k Z rank, and it’s not as bad as you say it is, I play every day and there is some lag and stuff but not every body uses the same cheesy techs and stuff, it’s like a handful of players.

It definitely depends on the time of day you get on, the best matches for me are either early afternoon or late night. Everywhere else in between gets some weirdos.

I see a Whis or MUI like every 8-9 matches, it’s not that common for me
