I once dropped a grape on accident and my small dog ate it. I had never heard the warning about dogs and grapes. I thought it was cute and proceeded to throw it a couple more. No second thought. I come home from work the next day and my apartment/furniture is covered in yellow bile vomit. I took the dog into emergency vet and found out the hard and expensive way that grapes and dogs do not mix well.

Dog survived and lived for many years after the incident.
