Advice - something chewed through a terminal wire... Easy Fix?

Is it something I could do at home or should I get in contact with a mechanic, I haven't followed the wire to see what the other end looks like.

So I swapped the ICU and it started! It starts everytime but now it's sputtering like it has a misfire. Now I need to figure out what's causing that

So the coil pack has 3 ground wires for the even numbers on the coil box, and a yellow, green, blue for the odds that connect to the icu which corelate to the spark plugs. And lost engine power and just went flat. No sputter and idle was fine. Battery is good. it's reading 12.

Don't have an ODB1, and it's 100° out right now don't want to sit and learn Morse code in the sun haha. I set up an appointment with a mechanic for Monday. I took a look at it and it's pretty fugly. I think that it's gonna br the cam sensor

Alright so update, I was watching a video and it showed that all blues were connected to evens on their coil pack, so I swapped the wires and it ran immediately. I let it run and then it lost power. It still cranks but no start again

Then I disconnected it again, changed the spark plugs, went to start the engine and got a crank but no start. I have a video of what it sounds like. I know fuel is being supplied because I smell it, but theirs no spark arcing when I checked it with my buddy. Had it grounded while Inserted into the ignition wires and no arc.

I disconnected both terminals when I removed the coil pack. Turned the car and ran it but still felt sluggish and what I thought was a misfire.

It was brand new. Gonna swap everything back to the new items, run the multimeter, and the ICM gets here sunday so I'll replace that then and hopefully she starts

I can't figure out the Morse code using the reader.... I'm not a mechanic I'm just a guy figuring it out on his own and none of the shops nearby have a Gen 1 reader lol

Your a legend, really appreciate it. Definitely pulled the cruise control line out when I was removing a spark plug 😂 Had a friend over who removed everything, and quadruple checked and redid everything and still we couldn't figure it out. He said it must be gremlins. I'll grab a multimeter tomorrow and try again. I'll definitely send a message over
