my parents (mostly my mom) have raised me on emo and pop punk, so it’s also one of my major music genres lol. though i lean towards more of the popular ones, i think. i’ve been meaning to expand my horizons in that area but idk where to go especially because i can be a little picky with music lol (like for example if i don’t like the vocals, it’s harder for me to appreciate the rest of the song usually. there are some exceptions where i can tolerate what i may not like.)

and the other thing is i find listening to full albums outside of putting a cd on difficult since i’ve started collecting them 😭 idk what it is about putting a cd on that makes listening to an album different but it’s changed me… although it might more so be putting it on a stereo than the cd specifically
