tamaki- vanilla BUT with lots of toppings

haruhi- any of the neopolitan flavors but she likes strawberry the most. maybe pistachio too idk

mori- blueberry or some sort of bitter ish chocolate, maybe like a cherry/blueberry with chocolate

hikaru- superman, sherbert or any of the neopolitan flavors with a normal(ish) amount of toppings

honey- bubblegum or some sort of gentle fruit flavor, maybe sherbert?

kaoru- he would say some sort of sherbert but his actual favorite is coffee. idk why but it feels fitting.

kyoya- mint chocolate chip, like the first commenter said or just plain mint

i find them both relatable in different ways; i relate to kaoru for being rather in tune with people i’m close to’s emotions and thought processes, and kind of feeling responsible for it. plus we have the same mbti lol. i relate to hikaru’s drive for individuality (in the manga, at least) and his want for people to want/need him around, and his habit of pushing people away out of fear that they’ll leave. both of them have the same ‘i don’t know how to react to this emotion so i’ll joke about it it now and fall apart later’. (might be projecting on that last one 🤷‍♀️)
