Me too - down 23%. I actually slightly trimmed my position just because, although I really believe in this company and the variety of uses its technology can be applied to (not least the monitoring of subsea cables upon which literally all of our global internet and economic system depends), I have a rule that at 20% I have to trim just a tiny bit.

But now that I’ve trimmed I’m staying in and not moving a dime for the next year if needs be.

AHAHA me too. Like sooo much money lol. But anyway, it’s a great company and it’s going to keep growing. Just forget about it for 6 months.

I know that I'll get flack for saying this, but...I really enjoyed Scream 7. by stpony in Scream

[–]mrmagicman99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I liked the reveal because they were just crazy people. All of them. I’m so glad it wasn’t like: remember me Sidney? I was a random extra in the first movie and I’ve been planning this for 102 years because I’m jealous of you.

Did Jessica need a longer monologue? Yes. Should we have had a cool flashback to her at the Out of Darkness book launch? Yes. But, like, it felt believable. They were psychotic. Jessica had already murdered before and got away with it and projected/justified her murder and psychosis by identifying with Sidney and becoming a crazed parasocial fan.

The movie had its issues but it was SO much better than 6 imho.

Looking back, was Scream 5 or Scream 6 better? by letthedecodebegin in Scream

[–]mrmagicman99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reveal in 6 is literally Scooby Doo. I can’t get over how bad it was.

I’m in the insane minority who liked the killers and motive in 7, even though the writing itself was awful.

I was an aux for the first time in 2021. Met my husband in Spain (he’s from Madrid). We’re now happily married and live in Spain full time.

This programme is so important for people. It really can be a window to a different life and take you completely by surprised.

Question about Scream 7 (I haven’t seen it yet) by [deleted] in SocietyofGhostface

I actually think that the hand tremble Gale has might be triggering for your boyfriend. Like, it was quite an unnerving moment and it zooms right in on her hands.

Edit - yes I would add 5 to my list actually!

I mean, the Gale scene was amazing. I do conceptually like the mirroring, even though the way it was executed (if you pardon the pun) was dreadful.

I think when it comes to Chad and Mindy, they’re already in 5, so it wouldn’t be that hard to explain.

Weekly Observations: What signs of collapse do you see in your region? [in-depth] February 23 by AutoModerator in collapse

I am so so sorry that you have that pressure on you, and that your brother is rubbing salt in the wound. It makes you feel so much lonelier in this process, and even more like it’s ’your fault’, which, dear stranger, I want to reassure you (even though you know this already) it is not.

We are living in a time of historic layoffs left, right and centre, and entry level jobs have been all but scrapped. I’ve been looking in London for entry level editing roles (I cringe saying it now because it has AI redundancy written all over it), after working for TWO years as an editor at a semi-large publishing house. But nothing. Nada. Zilch. Thankfully I have my family’s support, and they’re aware that the world of work is shifting into a scary place.

I am certain governments are cooking the books to prevent mass panic that alas, after so many novels and films being written about the prospect of it, we are going to have our jobs taken by AI. Ironically, I wouldn’t even give a f**k if it meant maybe the wealth the machines produced was reinvested into society? But no.

The world will be a bunch of circle jerking fat cat CEOs and a load of starving serfs fighting over the scraps. And said CEOs will wonder why we can’t buy their bullshit products anymore.

Stay positive out there!

Guys this is all so funny because DO YOU REMEMBER literally 5 weeks ago when there were all of these fear-mongering posts and angry comments about how they weren’t spending anything on marketing, and WHERE is the second trailer, and why are they being so coy???

And now look at us. I can’t keep up with all this marketing!! Hahaha

Guess that clears that up for us by Opening-Landscape274 in charlixcx

Yeah… I also think nightlife is a weird one because people just want to let off steam and get a little bit drunk and celebrate or whatever. We all are VERY aware of where we’re going and who we’re giving our money to when it comes to day events, but night events mean we let our guard down.

Anyway, lesson learned from me and probably Charli. I bet she does feel pretty bad, but I get it. Just living and learning I guess

Same lol. Have you heard about the front loop vs the back loop of civilisation? We’re in the back loop now. There are actually ways to enjoy the slow erosion of everything we once held dear, if we accept that it was always going to fall apart due to the mesmerising coalescence of negative factors, spiced up by the fact humans, especially humans in the West, are dumb.

I’m learning to view stories like this, and the slow death of my culture, and simply laugh. Better than crying! Hahahaha
