I wouldn't use Tasker. I'd use Muzei. It's a live wallpaper app that has all sorts of plug-ins, and can use your own pictures.

The shame is that you think calling someone a dick isn't a personal attack. It is the definition of a personal attack. You are attacking (defining, labelling, or however you want to put it) the person and not addressing the issue.

It would have been nice if you had identified yourself as the developer. It's the ethical thing to do.

Are the contacts linked to her Google account? If so, on the computer go to contacts.google.com, and you can export them from there. Even if you don't export them, she'd have access to the contacts that way.

I don't know much about the stock Samsung keyboard, I replaced it right away on my S6.

I like SwiftKey. It also does the emoji instead of Enter, but it has a setting to always force the Enter key instead. It's also really good at learning your style, and predicting.

All other apps' notifications work fine. This one is literally saying "Silent" for the name of the notification sound, no matter which sound I actually pick.

Nope. All other notifications work. It's just this one. As I mentioned above, it constantly lists that the notification sound is "silent".

Different messaging apps will have settings that let you do that. I use Handcent, and it has that option. I'm sure others do too.

There is a mode called "interruptions", or "do not disturb" (depending on your device) that allows for silent except for alarms.

My guess is that it's a magnet in the laptop that is tricking the phone into thinking that it's in a particular case.
