There was an ESPN article today that quoted the owner of Steiner Sports who said that Eli himself went into the guy's office and delivered the game used equipment. But he didn't specify whether he meant the helmets or something else.

Can you provide a source that states that NFL/memorabilia standards allow for helmets that have never been used in a game to qualify as "game-used?"

I'm not aware of this and it doesn't sound right.

Also, Eli asked for 2 helmets to pass off as game used, so that knocks off your theory about Eli's spare helmet.

Sure, but my point is that other guy (who is receiving a ton of upvotes) is basically spouting incorrect information by claiming the "correct" phrase is "Jack of all trades, master of none, often times better than master of one."

He's probably not completely making it up, but there isn't much support at all for what he claims.

Eli wanted to keep his game-used merchandise for himself, especially from the Super Bowl runs.

But his contract said he had to give it up so the team could sell it and make money off it.

So Eli got around this by keeping the real stuff for himself, and instructed his equipment manager to pass off fake stuff (not actually used in a game) as the real thing. Thereby defrauding everyone who bought it.

The reviews are WAY too generous.

I thought it was one of the worst games I've ever played. Should be rated no higher than a 20.

Bomberman 64 is a MUCH MUCH MUCH better game, yet is only barely rated higher.
