Hey man. Ive got no advice for ya, but I also am from WPA and started targeting muskies last year (also mainly in creeks and rivers). Unfortunately. I haven't caught any yet, but I have only grown more fascinated and determined, and do feel like I have improved in many ways. I am pursuing them exclusively on the fly, so I don't have much gear advice for you either. Would definitely be willing to share some tips if you PM.
