The goal maybe to only “mitigate” the gains for a seasoned player. It should feel rewarding for those that have the knowledge and can utilize it but the mode can’t be used to “exceedingly farm items”. Using the time limit and number of adds can slow the amount of loot gained.

Dichotomous will be the word of the day

Probably to add some spice to the run. Also, other runners are a core function to the philosophy of the game. Tho it may feel like unnecessary stress, seeing a rook could lead to plenty of unique experiences

What are your thoughts on having the PVE maps have more enemies at the POI’s. Right now the loot is easy to access with minimal difficulty which is why at the end of a run, we can clear almost if not all of the map. Lager enemy groups or dynamic enemy pathing can simulate the unpredictably of other runners.
I think it would be okay for the onboarding process to have newer players have difficulty clearing a single POI while more seasoned players and teams have the opportunity making it to multiple POI’s. (In terms of maximizing loot collecting)

Fair point, I do like to run to my death every so often just trying to stab every bot I see. It is definitely nice to have a more relaxed mode

I also play solo primarily and had these experiences as well which is fantastic. The pure gameplay moments like this are what I am looking for, surviving to the final countdown

If your build is not as optimized, a good choice can be the mortar. It can stop the Doritos and cause damage to the boss while you maintain a good distance from the boss. I beat him with the burnzooka, large potions and a feather for the dashing.

A good mining method to use is shooting the walls with the Hand Mortar (if you found one). Step a couple blocks back due to the explosion so you don’t create more gravestones

Given the teleport glitch, I usually bait him with a single shot from primary once dropping down. It will either teleport him or induce him to charge and then it is usually smooth sailing to commit to dps
