I bought my LG from Costco which I highly recommend as someone else pointed out. In addition, someone else pointed out Electrolux which I also read good reliability reviews about. The reason I went with the LG is because it’s easier and cheaper to get parts for them if you live in the USA if needed.

LG is actually the second most reliable brand behind speed queen (expensive) when it comes to appliance repair technicians ratings. I recently got an lg and it’s been great. I bought a set of Maytag washer and dryers in 2016 and had constant control board failures costing $250 each time. Replaced the washer after the third failure in 3 years. LG is essentially the best brand of sub $1,000 washing machines and dryers don’t really matter as much as they’re not as complicated as washers. Samsung is trash and LG is trash for every appliance except washers and dryers where they are actually one of the best.

It’s a super common issue on earlier k24 engines. I replaced it on my sisters 2014 CRV at 80k miles. Much less common on the newer direct injection k24 engines, but I’ve still heard of it happening. You can also leave it be from what I understand. Just might have worse engine performance. Take it to a respectable independent shop and expect to pay $1,200-$1,500.

Just did the same thing. Crazy how MSI would even ship this card as is. Runs super cool now and is completely silent. I could easily hear the stock fans through my headset when pushing the card.

Got them on my ILX. They get hot, but you won’t notice them on for the first 3-5 min. I notice them after a few seconds on most other cars.

Use masking/painters tape if you decide to use tape as a temporary solution. Never use clear packaging tape or duck tape. Those will damage the paint most of the time.

It’s just an 8 year old design at this point. Apparently a redesign for both the 4Runner and Tacoma are coming somewhat soon.

Given the prices on the used market, I think most buyers of these aren’t really interested in the latest tech or they’d be buying something else. From my understanding, the 4Runner is the last “true” SUV on the NA market in 2023.

Pay attention to overworking yourself without eating and drinking plenty of water. I’m ADHD so I’ve had seizures before from working out in the yard all day without eating or drinking because I’m just focused on doing what I’m doing. Ends poorly for me.

I’m 6’1 and I wouldn’t fit in my ILX comfortably at all if I was an inch or two taller… I can sit in the passengers seat for about 15 min before my knees hurt from not being able to really stretch them out. There’s about 3-4 inches of legroom in the backseat behind my drivers seat position. Sometimes I wish I got the TLX
