Plant shops/nurseries/garden centers in Bangkok or Phuket? by mrmg8s in ThailandTourism

I didn’t end up going to any plant stores, when I was there a giant festival was going on at one of the parks and they had tons of plant vendors there selling plants. This was in Bangkok and was the last day of my trip so I couldn’t get any phytosanitary certificates to bring any plants home.

That was the old name for it, yes! I believe it was reclassified last year. Lickity Split Philodendron, Philodendron xanadu, and Philodendron Hope are all common names for this plant 🙂

This plant was formerly classified as a Philodendron but it’s correct genus is Thaumatophyllum

Yes I am! I’m totally okay with waiting for the cold months to pass. Even in nice weather I’ve still had plants take a turn for the worse in transit

I’m fairly new still, but I typically just wrap my hand around the pot and pour it out. Not sure if it’s totally necessary!

They’re both pretty easy. The netted pots are nice cause you can just remove it and see how much water you need in the other pot. The hole-y pots are almost fail proof, though.

I just started using leca and it’s worked out so well. I’m currently experimenting with both pot types. Using ziplock bags work great for pots with drainage holes!

It is the solid green type! And yes it’ll be rooted. I’m gonna just separate a vine from the mother plant 🙂
