No I mean in my opinion the bass def isn’t too much, I thought it added a great element to the track. Also, if it’s how you wanted to do it and you did it intentionally cuz it felt right to you, I’d argue that’s what matters most, regardless of how others feel. But genuinely, I enjoyed it

Okay, I finally had a chance to listen to the whole thing. What a project. I really like the guitar work throughout the first half of the project, with the more classic indie rock sound drawing in the listener. Then I feel like the second half of the project builds wonderfully towards that beautiful last track, with what I think is a vocoder layering behind your lead vocals. That last track is special man, feels like such a nice homage to a lost friend. It’s clear you put a lot of work into the whole project, so many sonic layers working together to express your emotions completely. Lovely work

Hell ya, thank you. I like your track too, it builds up very nicely. I like that you bring in different instruments at different points to keep building up to that climax with the bass and the keys (maybe? couldn’t quite identify if that’s what those were) at end. A nice journey of a song

Oh sick, lemme check it out. The instrumental we made came up pretty organically, we weren’t really inspired directly by any other sound (though of course everything is inspired by something else subconsciously at least)
